Ubisoft on why The Crew isn’t coming to Wii U
Posted on 10 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Wii U | 20 Comments
The Crew was originally a current-gen game. However, that changed today after Ubisoft announced that its open-world racer is now also coming to the Xbox 360.
Both the Wii U and PlayStation 3 are being left behind. When asked to explain why The Crew isn’t coming to these consoles as well, a Ubisoft representative told VideoGamer:
“The Crew is originally built for the new generation of consoles so when we made the decision to port it to the previous generation of consoles, we decided to focus solely on the platform closest to the new-gen’s technical infrastructure, which is the Xbox 360. We are not currently working on a PS3 or Wii U version, we are rather focused on delivering The Crew for Xbox One, PS4, PC and Xbox360 simultaneously on November 11th.”

Activision is debuting a new element of Skylanders Trap Team at Gamescom 2014 this week. Those attending the expo can go hands-on with a new line of cute, pocket-sized Skylanders characters called Skylanders Minis.
Sixteen of these Skylanders are joining the fight and will be playable in Trap Team. While they’re diminutive in stature, they’re mighty in battle and will come with upgrades and abilities, just like any other Skylanders.
Five of the new Minis are playable at Gamescom: Spry, Mini Jini, Drobit, Trigger Snappy and Hijinx.

The Walking Dead table coming to Zen Pinball 2 next week
Posted on 10 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Wii U eShop | 1 Comment
Zen Studios is releasing a table based on The Walking Dead for its various pinball platforms next week – including Wii U. It’s due out on August 28 for Nintendo’s console through Zen Pinball 2.
Below is an official overview of the table:
Zen and Telltale have collaborated closely on every facet of the table’s design, portraying the captivating story and choice-driven gameplay design of The Walking Dead: Season One in a truly exciting pinball experience. The table will present players with recognizable locations like Clementine’s treehouse and Everett’s pharmacy in Macon, down to the walker-infested streets of Savannah, and players will find a breathtaking retelling of Season One that keeps the peril and drama of Lee and Clementine’s story intact.
The Walking Dead pinball table also presents choice-driven gameplay across each of Season One’s five episodes, offering brand new story dialogue from the award-winning cast. Players will be tasked with choosing who lives and who dies in a walker attack, solving problems and raising the group’s morale, hunting down food and supplies, acquiring important tools, and navigating through the herd amidst an oncoming walker breach.
