Harvest Moon: The Lost Valley has been in development for quite awhile. Graham Markay, vice-president of operations, told Siliconera that the company’s new office in Tokyo has been working on the game since early 2013.
Markay also confirmed that Yasuhiro Wada is not involved with The Lost Valley’s development. Wada is the creator of Harvest Moon, and worked with Natsume on Hometown Story.

We don’t generally make posts for a single new screenshot of a game, but since it’s been so long since we last saw Shantae and the Pirate’s Curse, let’s break tradition!

Want Broken Age on Wii U? Then it might be best to let developer Double Fine know!
COO Justin Bailey told one fan on Twitter, “if enough people” show interest in having Broken Age on Wii U, “I’m sure I can make that happen”.
He said:
@seven5three if enough people want that, I'm sure I can make that happen 🙂

Natsume will be announcing a total of three Nintendo titles by the end of E3 2014. One of these games, as we found out today, is Harvest Moon: The Lost Valley.
The Lost Valley is a 3DS title, but Natsume has something in store for Wii U as well. The publisher teased a “treat” for Nintendo’s console – which we know will be revealed in just a few days.
Natsume said:
@BretMeasor We announced our Harvest Moon game today… for 3DS! 🙂 But we will have a WiiU treat for fans~.

Square Enix apparently wasn’t happy with Chocobo Racing 3D’s quality
Posted on 10 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS, News | 5 Comments
Chocobo Racing 3D was one of the first projects announced for 3DS. Sadly, we finally received confirmation last year that the game had been cancelled.
Chocobo Racing 3D’s end seems to have come about – at least partially – because Square Enix wasn’t pleased with its quality.
A rough translation of comments made by Square Enix’s Shinji Hashimoto at the Thailand Comic Con last month reads:
When we checked the quality of the game, we did not satisfy. (so it was cancelled.)
If we would develop it for console, we think it should be a game for adults.(The target of Chocobo series is children.)
Thanks to Jake for the tip.

Natsume has confidence that Harvest Moon: The Lost Valley will reach Europe
Posted on 10 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS, News | 0 comments
Natsume announced Harvest Moon: The Lost Valley earlier today, though the reveal only pertained to North America. This begs the question: will Europe be seeing the game in their country as well?
While the company isn’t a position to reveal any information, Natsume did say on Twitter that it’s confident of a European release.
Natsume’s tweet states:
@koopaskull We can't discuss the EU release details *yet* but we have confidence it will make it to PAL territories.
