A new Pokemon Sun/Moon distribution has been confirmed. In October, GameStop will be handing out codes for Marshadow.

Marshadow will be at level 50 with the Marshadium Z item. It’ll know the moves Spectral Thief, Close Combat, Force Palm, and Shadow Ball.

Some additional information about Medabots Classics has been revealed in this week’s edition of Famitsu.

Firstly, development is stated to have been exactly 78% complete.

There are postgame bonuses for completing the main stories, such as being able to replay the game with every part unlocked and even gaining access to phantom parts that were never available before. There is something called a “Meda-Album” which functions something like a Pokedex, compiling all the parts you obtained in the main stories. You can save and load at any time, and you can skip pesky low-level battles (or high-level ones) using a “Force Robobattle Skip” feature. Wireless local multiplayer has been included for battles and trading.

Medabot Classics versions Kabuto and Kuwagata will release in Japan for 3DS on December 21st, 2017.

Nintendo’s maintenance had a brief period of quietness, but that’s starting to change this week. Nintendo added even more maintenance to its schedule today which will impact Wii U and 3DS for several hours.

The schedule is as follows:

– 6 PM PT (August 28) – 2 AM PT (August 29)
– 9 PM ET (August 28) – 5 AM ET (August 29)
– 2 AM in the UK (August 29) – 10 AM in the UK (August 29)
– 3 AM in Europe (August 29) – 11 AM in Europe (August 29)

During the maintenance period, all network services such as online play and rankings will be impacted.

The latest issue of Famitsu has revealed a new 3DS game: Medabots Classics, a collection of the first five Medabots games, which were initially released on the Game Boy (Medabots 1) and the Game Boy Color (Medabots 2 – 5). The games will receive some upgrades and new features, though we don’t know the extent of those yet.

Like some recent games in the series, Medabots Classics will be released as two separate versions, Kabuto and Kuwagata. There is also going to be a special limited edition with a CD and an illustration book.

We don’t know for sure yet, but a Western release of this collection seems fairly unlikely. Still, we’ll keep you updated should any news come out.

Amazon has started to take pre-orders for Layton’s Mystery Journey on 3DS. The game is already out on iOS, but the version for Nintendo’s handheld launches later this year.
