The interdimensional time-hopping action RPG Undungeon will soon be appearing on Switch, publisher tinyBuild and developer Laughing Machines announced today. It will be available on September 29, 2022.

Drainus

Today, Playism announced that it’s teaming up with Team Ladybug and WSS playground on a Switch version of Drainus. A release window was not provided.

Originally released for PC, Drainus is a side-scrolling shooting game that puts players in control of the “Drainus”, the Kharlal Empire’s most cutting-edge fighter with the ability to absorb energy bullets. They’ll be taking down the enemy ships zipping through space.

SEGA has readied a new trailer for Sonic Frontiers to celebrate the game’s appearance at the 2022 Tokyo Game Show. It provides more gameplay, a first look at Super Sonic, and more.

Drago Noka

Publisher Playism and developer GeSEI unkan have announced that Drago Noka, a city builder, is making its way to Switch. A release is planned for this winter.

Octopath Traveler II was just announced during yesterday’s Direct, leaving many fans craving for more details. It seems Square Enix is ready to deliver with a bit more information about the game, as they’re set to host a one hour-long livestreamed event for it through TGS 2022.

This livestream will take place on Saturday, September 17 at 5 PM JST / 1 AM PT / 4 AM ET / 9 AM BST. Beyond featuring new gameplay for the title, the game’s director (Keisuke Miyauchi), producer (Masashi Takahashi) and composer (Yasunori Nishiki) will also appear to discuss the game’s HD-2D visuals, its eight new main characters, new gameplay systems and more.

Niantic has just announced that the update switching payment methods for upgrading storage size has just been implemented. Notably, this means that you’ll no longer need to pay actual money to increase your maximum storage, and will instead be able to simply use in-game coins.
