Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Special Edition

The release date for Xenoblade Chronicles 3 has been moved up, with the game now set to launch on July 29. We previously had a September window from Nintendo.

According to today’s announcement, “life” is the central theme of Xenoblade Chronicles 3. In the game, players will step into the roles of protagonists Noah and Mio amid turmoil between the nations of Keves and Agnus. Six characters from those nations will come together to learn the truth behind their conflict, and set their sights for Swordsmarch, a land pierced by a giant sword.

LEGO Star Wars Skywalker Saga release date

This week’s UK software sales are in, specifically for the week ending April 16, 2022.

After it topped the charts in its debut, LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is on top for the second week in a row. Games like Pokemon Legends: Arceus, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Kirby and the Forgotten Land, and Animal Crossing: New Horizons are also in the top ten.

Original: Nintendo has announced that Nintendo Switch Online members in Europe will be able to try out Dragon Quest Builders 2 as part of their latest Switch Online Game Trial. Players will be able to experience the entire game for free during the trial’s duration, from April 20th to April 26th. All progress will also carry over to the full game.

Ahead of its launch on Switch eShop later this week on April 21, gameplay footage for twin-stick roguelite platformer Revita has emerged. Nearly 30 minutes of footage is available. Learn more about the game and check this out below:

Fire Emblem Heroes has received some interesting content recently, including a Grand Hero Battle featuring a new Grand Hero, 4 new characters via a new summoning event and a new Forging Bonds event.

Firstly, a new Grand Hero Battle featuring Hilda: Queen of Friege is now live. She is a new Hero to the game originating from Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War, and you can have her become your ally by defeating her in the Grand Hero Battle Special Map. A third wave of user icons based on Splatoon 2 are now available for Nintendo Switch Online members. The latest designs feature new looks for the Inklings, Off the Hook, stage layouts, and more. You can pick them up until April 25.

Splatoon 2 icons were first added to Nintendo Switch Online at the start of the month. Each Monday, the lineup is refreshed, and we should be getting a fourth wave next week.

tetris 99 kirby and the forgotten land

Nintendo has announced that Tetris 99 will soon be kicking off its 29th Maximus Cup, and players will have an opportunity to obtain a new theme based on Kirby and the Forgotten Land.

During the event, any Nintendo Switch Online member simply needs to play the Tetris 99 online mode. It’s possible to earn points based on placement in each match. Once players have accumulated a total of 100 event points, the theme will unlock, featuring background art, music and Tetrimino designs inspired by Kirby and the Forgotten Land.

It’s time to update your Switch once again, as Nintendo has just started distribution of firmware version 14.1.1

As this is a minor update, the patch notes are pretty small. Nintendo only states: “General system stability improvements to enhance the user’s experience.” Per usual, the Big N didn’t go into specifics.

Nintendo Switch Sports Everything You Need to Know

At the end of this month we will see the release of Nintendo Switch Sports, the new entry for the Wii Sports series. Taking into consideration the similarities between Switch and Wii, including motion controls and the huge install base, it’s not a surprise to see the series returning.

However, some have questioned decisions made for the game such as the six sports available or the new design for characters.
