The next Japanese Splatfest in Splatoon 2 is another sponsored food-themed one – Meiji Mushroom Mountain vs Meiji Bamboo Shoot Field. Today, the special artwork for this Splatfest featuring the Squid Sisters and Off the Hook was released; you can see it above.

Two Fire Emblem Heroes updates today: the daily Summoning Focus for today is Heroes with Death Blow. The focus units are Elincia: Lost Princess, Delthea: Free Spirit and Klein: Silver Nobleman.
Also, the Bound Hero Battle featuring Corrin & Azura is back. As always, there are also quests that require you to use specific characters in the BHB battle to earn extra orbs. This time, the quests ask you to use Anna: Commander and Sharena: Princess of Askr.

Are hot dogs sandwiches? Switch owners settle the debate again

Nintendo asked Switch owners last year to decide on whether hot dogs are sandwiches. Ultimately, the consensus was that they are in fact sandwiches having taken home 54% of the vote. One year later, the tides have turned.
Nintendo again asked Switch owners to vote on whether hot dogs are sandwiches a few weeks ago. This was done through the system’s news channel feature. This time around, the results were shared.

Smash Bros. Ultimate is out in December, and after watching the latest Nintendo Direct, I thought I would take the opportunity to discuss why this small time Smash Bros. fan is big time hyped. Beautiful Belmonts, tantalizing tunes, and a copious amount of content is just part of the appeal. Nintendo planned to work with High Voltage on a water-focused robot shooter for Wii U, but leaks caused it to be cancelled

During the Wii era, High Voltage was a prominent name that often came up when talking about core titles on the console. The studio developed The Conduit series, and had at one point planned another gritty shooter in the form of The Grinder.
Taking notice of High Voltage’s work and commitment to its platforms, Nintendo reached out to the team in hopes of working together on a new shooter for Wii U. Did You Know Gaming? and Liam Robertson have today revealed details about the project, which was ultimately cancelled following a leak.

Doom Eternal is a direct sequel to Bethesda and id Software’s Doom from 2016, which came out on Switch last year. Some might be surprised that the title isn’t being called Doom 2. However, there is reasoning behind that.
