XSEED announced this week that Senran Kagura Reflexions will make the jump to the North American Switch eShop on September 13. The publisher also just hosted a live stream to end the week, the recording of which we have below.

BlobCat has its first update on Switch. Version 1.1 was issued to all players this week.
First up, the patch implements fixes for puzzle 4-12 and multiplayer level kitchen 2. The developer also added two new multiplayer levels and Finnish support.

Western 1849 Reloaded out on Switch next week

Nawia Games will release Western 1849 Reloaded on Switch next week, a listing on the North American eShop reveals. The arcade shooter is on track for August 29.
Western 1849 Reloaded features optional aiming controls, five shooting levels, unlockable Perk Cards and Charms, a Rage Mode, and more. Find more details and a trailer below.

Hamsterdam funded on Kickstarter, coming to Switch

Guns of Icarus developer Muse Games took to Kickstarter to fund its new project Hamsterdam. After surpassing the $8,000 goal, the title will be made for Switch.
Hamsterdam is a brawling hamster-fu beat ’em up. We have a few more details plus a trailer below.

Last week, Europe and Japan had their latest Splatfests in Splatoon 2. It was North America’s turn this weekend.
The new Splatfest topic was all about utensils. Nintendo asked players which they believe is more useful: forks or spoons. After a day of battles, the event is over and the results are in.

Nintendo announced the final release date for Luigi’s Mansion on 3DS this week. North America will have it on October 12, with the European release happening a week later on October 19.

Nintendo has been keeping quiet thus far on how players will go about unlocking characters in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. In the past, director Masahiro Sakurai has said that the initial roster will be small, and wants the process of gaining new characters to be interesting.
amiibo listings on Best Buy Canada may give some information about one way in which some characters can be unlocked in Smash Bros. Ultimate. Information included within pages for Wolf, Inkling Girl, and Ridley mention tapping their figures to add them to your game.

GameStop Ireland lists physical version of Surgeon Simulator CPR

Surgeon Simulator CPR may have a chance at a physical release. Although we don’t have a confirmation at this time, GameStop Ireland has a listing up on its website, which indicates a retail version.
Surgeon Simulator CPR is coming soon, though a release date hasn’t been set. Bossa Studios will be announcing when the game will be available shortly.
