Sonic Mania Plus made its debut earlier this week. It’s true that it includes some new content, but improvements have been made as well. Digital Foundry has taken a closer look.

When Sonic Mania originally launched last year, Bonus Stages took a frame rate hit on Switch. Now, however, this has been fixed entirely. These stages run at a smooth 60 FPS. You can expect that in both docked and portable modes.

Earlier this year, PAW Patrol: On a Roll was announced for Switch. Outright Games shared first details and screenshots today, and also confirmed a 3DS version.

Here’s what we know:

New footage has arrived for the Switch eShop game Sausage Sports Club. Get a look at some gameplay in the video below.

Hamster is currently hosting one of its regular live streams on Niconico. During the event, more NeoGeo titles were confirmed for Switch. The King of Fighters ’97, Prehistoric Isle 2, Metal Slug 4, Real Bout Fatal Fury 2: The Newcomers, Crossed Swords, and Football Frenzy are all in the pipeline.

Specific release dates for these games have not yet been announced. Expect them to roll out in the weeks ahead.

A handful of new screenshots have been provided for SEGA Ages, which will begin to launch in August. We have the images below.
