Nintendo Everything was at this year’s Tokyo Game Show! We had a low-key presence at the event, but we did manage to try out several upcoming Japanese 3DS titles. Look for our impressions in the coming days.
Digimon Universe: Appli Monsters Cyber Arena is a free-to-play preview version of the upcoming 3DS game Digimon Universe: Appli Monsters. It just came out yesterday – September 21 – on the Japanese eShop. The full product will be released December 1 in Japan, though we’ve given the new download a test drive.
If you’re a Digimon veteran, don’t expect past Digimon creatures like Agumon to appear here. This adventure takes place in a brand-new universe where current trending technology like smartphones and augmented reality are prevalent. The new Digimon are called Appli Monsters, or Appmon in short, and are based on smartphone apps. As of the Cyber Arena version, there are a total of 147 Appmon available.

Ubisoft is one of the few third-party publishers out there that has commented on NX fairly regularly, despite not saying too much. We do know that the company is bringing Just Dance 2017 to the platform as well as other games.
At a Ubisoft presentation held today, CEO Yves Guillemot once again weighed in on NX, stating:
“The new Nintendo [console] is a fantastic machine. It’s really a new approach, it’s really Nintendo, [which is] coming with something new again. We love it.”
Guillemot was later asked why Ubisoft has such faith in Nintendo. To this, he responded:

Bandai Namco officially announced Dragon Ball Fusions for the west earlier today, and GameSpot has now shared some off-screen footage from the English build. Watch it below.
This was to be expected based on the initial trailer and short localization, but Dragon Ball Fusions does not appear to have a dub. Bandai Namco is translating everything into English, though the voices will remain in Japanese.

Final Fight 3 also hitting the North American New 3DS Virtual Console tomorrow
Posted on 9 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS eShop, New Nintendo 3DS, News | 0 comments
Final Fight 2 isn’t the only New 3DS Virtual Console game due out in North America tomorrow. In addition to that one, we’ll be seeing Final Fight 3.
Nintendo’s website has the following overview:
“Following the defeat and subsequent disappearance of the Mad Gear Gang, a small group known only as “Skull Cross” is responsible for a new uprising of vandalism, terrorism and death. The government of Metro City is at a complete loss. Metro City’s mayor, Mike Haggar, and Guy are prepared to take on the new gang, but before they can act, the door bursts open, revealing Lucia, Cody’s old friend. “Metro City is under attack!” she shouts, “Skull Cross is loose, and they’ve got something up their sleeves.” But before any of them can move, a mysterious man appears in the doorway. “My name is Dean,” he says. “I know Skull Cross inside-and-out, and I hate them more than anything. I can help you, and you can help me. We must go!” All four fighters vow to bring Skull Cross down. It will be a tough assignment, and may even be their final fight!”
Just like Final Fight 2, Final Fight 3 will cost $7.99.
