Peter Moore says “Nintendo’s a great partner”, not dead and never will be to EA
Posted on 11 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Wii U | 10 Comments
EA chief operating officer Peter Moore has responded directly to a recent report concerning Wii U.
Yesterday, CVG published a piece about the console, which included some comments from a supposed source within the company. The unnamed person said that “Nintendo was dead to us very quickly” – among other things.
Moore took to Twitter earlier today and responded to those remarks, writing:
Don’t trust "anonymous sources". Nintendo's a great partner. They never have been, and never will be, ‘dead’ to EA… @EA .

Moore also had a brief exchange with Rob Crossley, the writer of CVG’s Nintendo article:
@Rob_Crossley_ I know where I, as the COO, and my company stands on this relationship, despite the comments of your anonymous source @EA

KickBeat isn’t 100% confirmed for Wii U, but based on this week’s USK rating, I’m almost certain that an announcement will be made in the near future.
