Dungeon Encounters gameplay

Now that Dungeon Encounters has released on Switch, we have a good look at gameplay. Today’s video shows off 23 minutes of footage.

Nira trailer

Publisher Graffiti Games and developer Baseline Games have uploaded a launch trailer for Nira. The game, a sandbox survival adventure with procedurally generated islands, is appearing on Switch as of today.

Skul The Hero Slayer release date

Skul: The Hero Slayer finally has a release date on Switch and will make its way to the console on October 21, an eShop listing confirms.

The game was first confirmed for the system back in May 2020. It was originally planned for an early 2021 launch, though that ultimately didn’t happen and there hadn’t been any news regarding launch timing until today. On the bright side, publisher Neowiz and developer SouthPAW Games will finally have the Switch version ready to go next week.

Uno The Call of Yara

Ubisoft has just issued new DLC for Uno on Switch in the form of The Call of Yara. This new content is inspired by the tropical paradise island Yara, bringing along new features and a game mode.

The Call of Yara introduces a Yara-inspired board and menu, exclusive themed-cards, and immersive audio soundtrack. Players start out by drawing seven cards and 300 Pesos. They then collect 100 Pesos at the beginning of every turn, which can be spent to hire the services of Libertad legends.

Ubisoft points out that each character in Uno’s The Call of Yara affects the gameplay differently. Spend your Pesos strategically to unlock the services below:

Publisher Snowman and developer The Game Band today announced a Switch release date for Where Cards Fall, a slice of life puzzle game. The title will be available for Switch next month, November 4.

We first heard about the game exactly a year ago. It was first planned for early 2021, but we’ll now be seeing it next month instead.

Where Cards Fall has players building houses of cards to bring formative memories to life and it’s all presented within a coming-of-age story. Here’s some additional information:

Henchman Story

Silken Sail, along with Top Hat Studios, today announced that Henchman Story is heading to Switch. And in fact, the narrative adventure game is actually available starting today.

Murder House Switch

There’s a bit of a surprise for Switch owners for today, as Murder House has just received a surprise release on the console. It’s live in Europe and Australia, and it should be up in North America within the next few hours.

Murder House is a PS1 style survival horror game that acts as a spiritual successor to Babysitter Bloodbath. The game begins with a news crew breaking into an abandoned home of Anthony Smith, an executed serial cleaner. While the team intends to shoot a haunted house story, the notorious Easter Ripper may not actually be dead.
