During today’s Nintendo Management Briefing Session, president Shuntaro Furukawa reiterated that Switch is currently in the middle of its life-cycle. Extending that life-cycle is an important goal for the company, which may now be possible thanks to focusing on a single hardware platform. Furukawa also commented on R&D investment. In the past, Nintendo used to look at conventional technology that enabled a lower price and appeal to users.
