Persona 5 Strikers

Persona 5 Strikers is finally heading west in February. For awhile, there was some uncertainty regarding if and when the game would be localized. It seems that the coronavirus pandemic is partly to blame for the long wait for an announcement.

Erika Harlacher and Cassandra Lee Morris, the voice actors for Ann and Morgana respectively, shared a bit of behind the scenes information during a recent discussion video. It turns out that English voice recording kicked off around April of last year. When the pandemic hit and quarantine went into effect, everything was put on hold.

Harlacher mentioned:

A new soundtrack for Fire Emblem: Three Houses was announced a little while back. Play-Asia is now taking pre-orders here.

As a reminder, there will be a regular version for $73. You can also pick up a limited edition for $104, which comes with a music box and four poster cards. Both editions also feature six discs, a bonus DVD, clear case, Sothis and Rhea jacket, and a twenty page booklet.

Here’s the product description from Play-Asia:

Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game - Complete Edition

It’s official: Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game – Complete Edition is getting a physical release. Limited Run Games has teamed up with Ubisoft and Universal Pictures to make it happen.

Shiren the Wanderer: The Tower of Fortune and the Dice of Fate

When Shiren the Wanderer: The Tower of Fortune and the Dice of Fate launched last month, Japan was the only region where a physical version was offered. That’s now changing, courtesy of Limited Run Games.

Limited Run Games will soon be offering standard and collector’s edition versions of Shiren the Wanderer: The Tower of Fortune and the Dice of Fate. The latter release includes an art book, Mamel stress ball, art prints, and Miracle Dice.

Akiba's Trip: Hellbound & Debriefed

Earlier this week, Acquire announced plans to bring Akiba’s Trip: Hellbound & Debriefed to Switch. The game was also given a release date of May 20 in Japan.

Clouded Leopard Entertainment has now followed up for some news in Asia. Akiba’s Trip: Hellbound & Debriefed will be distributed on that same day as well, and English support is confirmed.

XSEED previously announced plans to publish Akiba’s Trip: Hellbound & Debriefed in North America. However, that was back in 2019, so it’s currently unknown if the company will be handling the Switch version as well. While it’s likely, even if it doesn’t happen, we at least know that an English version will be offered on Switch thanks to the upcoming Asian release.
