Although Othercide isn’t launching on Switch until later this summer, Lightbulb Crew and Focus Home Interactive have released a new trailer celebrating its launch on other platforms. Check it out below.

Aardman Studios has just announced that its puzzle platformer, Home Sheep Home: Farmageddon Party Edition, will be getting a physical release in the UK on September 1 for £9.99. Though this offer is only available in the UK with no word on a physical release in North America, Switch games are not region locked, and can be imported and played from other regions.

Additionally, the developer and publisher announced that Home Sheep Home: Farmageddon Party Edition would be released via the Switch eShop in Japan this week, on July 30th.

Eiyuden Chronicle

Eiyuden Chronicle has achieved massive success on Kickstarter after the campaign went live earlier today. In just a few hours, the project already exceeded $1 million. In addition to the main funding goal, the console stretch goal has been met as well.

Based on what we’ve heard from Rabbit & Bear Studios, we should be seeing Eiyuden Chronicle on some sort of Nintendo console. Whether it’s Switch or something else, however, remains to be seen. A new Nintendo console is clearly the team’s goal, but it sounds like they’re willing to put in the work for a Switch version as well.

Here’s the official statement from Rabbit & Bear Studios for those that missed it earlier today:

Eiyuden Chronicle

Eiyuden Chronicle, the new RPG from the creators of Suikoden and the just-established Rabbit & Bear Studios, has just launched its Kickstarter campaign.

The main funding goal sits at about $500,000. A console stretch goal awaits at $1 million, which includes support for Nintendo platforms.

Regarding a release on Switch or Nintendo’s successor to the console, Rabbit & Bear Studios states:

Fairy Tail Photo Mode

Fairy Tail will be receiving a Photo Mode update next week, Koei Tecmo and Gust have announced. It’ll be made available in the form of a free update.

Also announced today is new DLC for the game. Lyon Vastia, Levy McGarden, Lisanna Strauss, and Elfman Strauss will be added as new playable characters. Note that Lisanna Strauss and Elfman Strauss are packaged together.

Lastly, on the same topic of DLC, there will be 48 pieces of costume DLC arranged into three sets. They are as follows:

Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers

Fans have been waiting for news regarding the localization of Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers since the game’s announcement and release in Japan. Now thanks to Koei Tecmo’s financial report, it appears that a western release is officially happening.

One of the presentation slides included in the report is dedicated to Koei Tecmo’s future titles. For the “packaged games” category, Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers is included, and the planned release region is listed as “the west”.
