At CEDEC 2019 this week, a few staffers at Bandai Namco stopped by to deliver a talk about Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Much of it was naturally focused on the game’s development, but some concept art was also shared for the Battlefield stage.

Japanese website 4Gamer snapped a couple of photos from the event showing off the concept art. We have both attached to this post.

Inti Creates has a lot going on these days. Between Gunvolt, Blaster Master Zero, and Dragon Marked for Death, in a way there’s something for everyone.

When we had a chance to speak with Inti Creates president Takuya Aizu at E3 2019, we asked about almost everything the company has been working on as of late. That includes Gunvolt Chronicles: Luminous Avenger IX (and what they’ve been able to do on Switch that wasn’t possible on 3DS), what to expect from future Dragon Marked for Death updates, whether we could see another Sunsoft revival like Blaster Master, and more.

Ori and the Blind Forest marks the latest title for Switch that was previously published by Microsoft on Xbox. Some might be curious: how’d the whole thing happen in the first place? In an interview with MCV, Xbox GM of games marketing Aaron Greenberg offered an explanation.

According to Greenberg, it was developer Moon Studios that approached Microsoft about the idea. After feeling that the port “made sense,” a release on Switch moved forward.

A physical version of My Friend Pedro is officially happening. GameStop has listed the product on its website, along with a November 12 release date. It can be pre-ordered here.

My Friend Pedro was first thought to be getting a physical release after it was featured on Special Reserve Games’ website last month. Interestingly, it will be available at major retailers, which didn’t originally appear to be the case. We’re not sure if the likes of Amazon and Best Buy will be carrying copies, but we at least know that it will be stocked at GameStop.

Bethesda uploaded a new video this week highlighting the 1.0.5 update for Wolfenstein: Youngblood. Get a look at it below for a closer look at upcoming features and balance changes.

Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night

Not too long after Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night launch, developer ArtPlay and publisher 505 Games decided to go back to the drawing board with the Switch version. A major patch has been in the works since then that is intended to improve the game in a number of areas, especially with performance an input lag.

505 Games community manager Jason Ryan provided a status update on the patch this week. Writing on Kickstarter, Ryan noted that there’s still no ETA, “but we are on track to deliver on our internal dates.”

Here’s the full status update:
