A physical copy for the twin-stick shooter RPG NeuroVoider is in the works, Red Art Games has announced. Pre-orders go live this Thursday on the company’s website.

Fans will have an opportunity to purchase the title as a premium edition. The package includes the game, a cardboard sleeve, five exclusive postcards, and a poster.

GameStop is running an interesting promotion for Super Mario Maker 2. If you trade in the game within 48 hours of the game’s release, you’ll receive full credit from the store. That information is posted on GameStop’s website here.

Obviously that 48-hour window doesn’t really leave players with a whole lot of time with the game. But if you end up buying it on release and have concerns that you won’t enjoy it, you’ll have the option of getting full credit value from GameStop.

Publisher Wired Productions and developer Storm in a Teacup today announced Close to the Sun for Switch. The Nikola Tesla-inspired first-person horror game will launch on the system later this year.

Here’s some additional information:

Rimururu was previously announced as the first DLC character for Samurai Shodown. Joining her will be Basara, Kazuki Kazama, and Wan-Fu, SNK and Athlon Games revealed today.

The DLC gets started with Rimururu in August. The rest of the characters will follow every two months.

Of course, Samurai Shodown won’t be on Switch until this winter. We’re hoping that most of the DLC characters will be ready for that version of the game by the time it launches.

Team Cherry published a blog post today that goes into detail regarding the gameplay systems in Hollow Knight: Silksong. The studio also commented on the game’s release, stating that it will launch when it’s ready.

AI: The Somnium Files

Spike Chunsoft will be releasing AI: The Somnium Files on Switch a few months from now. We know that Europe and Australia won’t be left behind, as the company is teaming up with an outside publisher to bring the game to other territories.

Numskull Games announced today that it will release AI: The Somnium Files in European and Australian markets. The detective game will be out both physically and digitally on September 20. This partnership will continue going forward, with Numskull handling other titles from Spike Chunsoft as well.

The Switch version of Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is finally available today. Curious how it compares to the PS4 version? Direct-Feed Games put the two versions side by side in the video below:

At E3 this year, it was revealed that The Sinking City will come to Nintendo Switch this Fall. However, other platform owners won’t have to wait that long as they’ll be able to play the game later this week, in June 27. Here’s a new trailer for the game – though keep in mind that it likely isn’t showing footage from the Switch version:

Today, Traxmaster Software announced Exception for Nintendo Switch, a 2D action platformer. The game will be available sometime this Summer. You can check out the game’s official website if you want to learn more about it; here’s the official announcement trailer:

The next update for Splatoon 2 is coming really soon – tomorrow around noon in Japan and Australia, early in the morning in Europe and later tonight in North America. Version 4.9.0 will bring with it the usual balance updates for weapons and skills. We will keep you updated once the official patch notes are out.
