Nintendo and The Pokemon Company have announced a special opportunity to try out Pokemon: Let’s Go, Pikachu / Eevee. Starting today in Los Angeles with multi-platinum recording artist, actress and Pokemon fan Jordin Sparks, fans will be able to play the upcoming games in select locations leading up to the November 16 launch.

Aside from a playable demo, the pop-up tour will feature Pikachu- and Eevee-themed trucks, fun photo opportunities, special giveaways (while supplies last), a chance to go hands-on with the Poke Ball Plus, and an exclusive Pokemon Snapchat filter. Pokemon GO players may even encounter a higher frequency of Pikachu and Eevee sightings near the events.

Disgaea 1 Complete

Today, Minecon Earth 2018 was held. All sorts of announcements were made pertaining to Minecraft, including the next update, the inclusion of pandas, and more.

Starlink: Battle for Atlas

Footage has come in showing how Starlink: Battle for Atlas looks on Switch in handheld mode. Take a look at the latest gameplay below.

Prior to the Tokyo Game Show last week, a fan poll was held to determine the most wanted SEGA Ages games for Switch. Jet Set Radio topped the list, but right behind it was Shenmue I & II. While both of these titles were just recently re-released on modern platforms, Switch was left out of the equation. Perhaps that could that change in the future.

4Gamer interviewed localization director Hiroji Noguchi and localization producer Eigo Kasahara around TGS. The site brought up the interest in seeing Shenmue on Switch, and neither of them shot down the possibility. In fact, bringing Shenmue to Switch is something Kasahara would like to consider.

Xenoblade Chronicles 2

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is the best-selling entry in the series. It’s already a million seller having sold 1.42 million copies as of June 2018.

One reason for Xenoblade Chronicles 2’s success is due to strong sales in the west. Speaking with USgamer, Monolith Soft executive director Tetsuya Takahashi revealed that the RPG exceeded the company’s expectations, especially in the west. The new Torna expansion is also exceeding expectations on the whole.

Bendy and the Ink Machine

Originally slated for October, Bendy and the Ink Machine has been pushed back a few weeks on Switch. A new, final release date of November 20 has been announced.

Nintendo released a new “Shadows” trailer for Super Mario Party, launching next week on Switch. Watch it below.

It turns out Choice Provisions isn’t done with Runner3, its Switch game that launched earlier this year. Over on Twitter, the studio shared some teases for the future.

Regarding Runner3 specifically, Choice Provisions is cooking up “a major patch with a whole lot of new additions”. The developer is also teasing “some other exciting news to announce in the very near future.”
