Super Smash Bros. - Nintendo Switch

It’s time for the latest Famitsu’s most wanted games chart. This week, Smash Bros. for Switch moves up several spots and has entered the top ten.

Head past the break for the full chart. All votes were cast between April 5 and April 11.

Nintendo Labo comes with comprehensive instructions with the software that shows you how to build the different creations. As part of this, users can manipulate the camera when different pieces are shown to get a better look. The Joy-Con is also present here.

If you move the camera in a certain way, you can get it to show the inside of the Joy-Con. Nintendo didn’t just model the outside though. If you attempt to go inside of the Joy-Con, you’ll see that it’s fully modeled as well and get a better idea of the functionality inside.

South Park: The Fractured But Whole - Nintendo Switch

Ubisoft will officially launch South Park: The Fractured But Whole for Switch on Tuesday. But some folks have the game early, and we’re hearing that a big update has been issued.

The patch is significant, weighing in at 3.1GB. Unfortunately though, we don’t have the specifics of what the update entails at this time. The good news is that, even without the patch, South Park: The Fractured But Whole is completely playable on Switch.

More:

The Snack World: Trejarers Gold debuted in Japan on April 12. Through April 15, the game sold about 35,000 copies. Dengeki further reports that it sold through 65% of its initial shipment.

Originally, The Snack World originally appeared on 3DS last year. It managed to sell somewhere around 100,000 copies in its first week with a 55% sell-through rate.

Given that the Switch release is an enhanced version that’s coming out a year later, The Snack World: Trejarers Gold had a pretty good debut. Sales may also receive a bump during Golden Week.

Adventure Time: Pirates of the Enchiridion

We’re still unsure when exactly we’ll be seeing Adventure Time: Pirates of the Enchiridion on Switch, but Well Played did recently conduct an interview with some of the developers at Climax Studios to gain more insight. Associate producer Orcun Adsoy, lead designer Ian Hudson, and audio lead Chris Jolley participated in the chat.

In Japan, the latest Splatfest for Splatoon 2 was held this weekend. When asked which makes them feel the most wonder, players were given two options: unknown/undiscovered creatures or advanced technology.

We now have the full results from the latest Splatfest. Though it was pretty close, advanced technology took home the win. That team actually won all three categories – votes, solo battles, and team battles. The final score was 0-3 in favor of the latter team.
