Switch

Similar to the test performed on The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild during its launch period, testing has confirmed that the Switch’s battery in portable mode will last for a little over 3 hours when playing Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.

The test was conducted with a full charge and with screen brightness set to 30%. The exact time was 3 hours, 9 minutes and 20 seconds of playtime – similar to the battery life when playing Breath of the Wild, which is almost exactly 3 hours.

You’ve already seen a Guardian and a Stone Talus battle it out in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. What happens when the same kind of Guardian enemy is pushed all the way into the desert to fight another mini-boss? Dorkly writer Tristan Cooper did just that this past weekend, and shared the results on Twitter with a video.

Thanks to Puyo Puyo Nexus, we have plenty of gameplay from the final English build of Puyo Puyo Tetris. A couple of videos with footage are below.

Update 2 (4/17): Square Enix made the full recording available again. We have it below.

Update: Square Enix has quickly taken down the recording for whatever reason. For now, we’ve added in unofficial uploads of the footage below.

The Japanese Dragon Quest XI Release Date Presentation has wrapped up, and the full recording is now online. The main highlight here is the tons of footage shown of both versions. Unfortunately, there was no specific news about Switch.

Original: We missed Aqua Style’s first tweet which says that the demo will be exclusively playable at Reitaisai, so nothing is official regarding a final release. As the actual effort is being put into the project, we would be surprised if something doesn’t happen with the game on Switch down the line.

Original: Touhou Genso Wanderer is coming to Switch, Aqua Style has revealed. The company shared the announcement on its Twitter page.

If all goes well, Touhou Genso Wanderer will be playable at Touhou Game Show 2017 at Tokyo Big Sight on May 7. This is part of a bigger Touhou Project convention, the Reitaisai.

NIS America localized the PS4 and PS Vita versions of Touhou Genso Wanderer last month, but it’s unclear if there are any plans for the Switch version in the west – especially since development isn’t terribly far along. As for the game itself, it’s a roguelike RPG that has players controling Reimu, the Hakurei Shrine Maiden, to investigate the latest incident to take place in the world of Gensokyo.

Here’s a look at the title:
