2023 Annapurna Interactive Showcase announced for June 29

A 2023 Annapurna Interactive Showcase will be held on June 29, Annapurna Interactive has announced. It will air at 12 PM PT / 3 PM ET / 8 PM in the UK / 9 PM in Europe.
This will be the third annual event for Annapurna. The 2021 show happened on July 29 while last year’s broadcast was on July 28.
We should be getting new looks at the publisher’s lineup, including Lorelei and the Laser Eyes. Stay tuned for the live stream closer to the event.

The main event for Summer Game Fest 2023 is almost here, and with the event about to begin, we’re sharing the official live stream. It will begin at 12 PM PT / 3 PM ET / 8 PM in the UK / 9 PM in Europe.
Announcements and other updates for games across all platforms and publishers will be shared. While it seems Nintendo itself won’t be participating, there should be a decent amount for Switch owners here. We know that at the very least, first gameplay from Mortal Kombat 1 will be shown. We’ll be sure to pass along anything else notable on the Switch front on the main site as soon as possible.

Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed – Ecto Edition announced for Switch

IllFonic today announced that Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed is heading to Switch with a new Ecto Edition. A release is planned for later in 2023.
Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed – Ecto Edition is an asymmetrical multiplayer title. The Switch version will run at a dynamic resolution from a range of 720 (handheld mode) to 1080p at the maximum. The frame rate clocks in at 30 FPS.
Blasphemous II release date set for August

Original (6/8): Team17 and The Game Kitchen have revealed the final Blasphemous II release date. On Switch and other platforms, the title launches on August 24, 2023.
The news comes from an official store page that shared the date and a new trailer. While that date has now been changed, we should be hearing about it officially during one of the upcoming showcases such as Summer Game Fest later today.

Friday the 13th: The Game to be delisted at the end of 2023

The team behind Friday the 13th: The Game announced today that the game will be delisted at the end of 2023. Since the license is expiring, it’ll be pulled on December 31, 2023. This applies to both the physical and digital versions.
Gun Media promises that Friday the 13th: The Game will “continue to function through at least December 31, 2024.” In other words, those who already own the game can continue playing for another year. Also, the base game is seeing a price reduction to $5 while all DLC will be $1.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet hosting distributions for TM028 and TM086

Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet are back with another distribution, and there are two TMs up for grabs – specifically TM028 and TM086, or Bulldoze and Rock Slide.
Bulldoze, a Ground-type move, damage the opponent and decreases the target’s speed. Rock Slide dishes out damage as well and has a chance of making the target flinch.

Radirgy 2 announced for Switch

Original (9/8): Today, Publisher Beep Japan and developer RS34 announced Radirgy 2, a sequel to the original shoot ’em up. The project is in development for Switch, but a release window hasn’t been shared at this time.
This isn’t the only Radirgy game on Switch. Radirgy Swag first launched in 2019 as a Japanese-only title, with the western version finally following this past January.
