Square Enix is back with another trailer for the Switch version of NieR: Automata: The End of YoRHa Edition, and this time around we have a look at the City Ruins. This is a desolate city eroded by greenery and decay, and is now occupied by machine lifeforms and wildlife. Square Enix notes how there are many parts to be explored as this city lies in the very center of the connecting zones.

The latest Japanese hardware sales from Famitsu are as follows:

Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle director Davide Soliani has spoken about the pressure faced while making the game, and actually thought that people would end up hating it. He even believed it’d be the last game he’d work on.

To be fair, when the title leaked before its official reveal, many had doubts that a crossover between the Mario and Rabbids franchises would work. Soliani told GamesIndustry that he initially saw “the worst messages” on forums, but the consensus changed once the official announcement was made.

It has been some time since we heard about Sixtar Gate: STARTRAIL, a rhythm game which was due to be released on Switch last year. Today, publisher CFK, along with developers Lyrebird Studio and Magical Works, announced that the game would receive a physical release on Switch when it arrives, and shared a new trailer. Currently the game does not have a release date.

Details for title update version 1.1.0. for Splatoon 3 have been released ahead of its launch tomorrow on Switch. This update will make some changes to Hero Mode, most notably adding Photo Mode in select locations, as well as making features that require an internet connection to be used available. Osman

Original: (8/31): As revealed by Konami’s TGS 2022 website, Osman – which originally appeared in 1996 – is seeing new life on Switch. ININ Games is planning an updated version for the console where it will launch in 2023.

Osman – known as Cannon-Dancer in Japan – is a side-scrolling action platformer made by Mitchell Corporation and was worked on by former members of Capcom. After debuting in arcades, that’s where the game has stayed since.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 update 1.1.1

Original: A new 1.1.1 update has just released for Xenoblade Chronicles 3, and it fixes quite a few of the game’s more recently discovered bugs and glitches. Notably, it removes a softlock possible by beating a specific enemy early, fixes the cooking mechanic to make it functional again and makes certain previously unobtainable items now normally obtainable.

Splatoon 3 frame rate resolution

Splatoon 3 is almost here, and Digital Foundry has now put up a video exploring the game from a technical perspective, including frame rate and resolution. Some other tidbits are shared as well.

GrimGrimoire OnceMore English

Today, NIS America confirmed that it’s working on an English release of GrimGrimoire OnceMore on Switch in the west. The game is expected to launch in North America and Europe in Spring 2023.

GrimGrimoire, a real-time strategy game developed by Vanillaware, first came out in 2007. The “OnceMore” version just launched for Switch in Japan this past July. It includes updated visuals, an art gallery, fast forward and mid-battle save options, tweaks for the hard difficulty setting, skill trees for Familiars, “Great Magic” in battle, and a new voice cast.

Monster Menu: The Scavenger's Cookbook

NIS America is localizing Monster Menu: The Scavenger’s Cookbook for English release on Switch, the company revealed today. A release is planned for Spring 2023.

The game was previously known by its Japanese name Shikabanegurai no Boukenmeshi. Back in January, it made its first appearance as a Japan-only title.
