The team has gone all out in this department, as there are various options for controls, graphics, motion, audio, and gameplay. Here’s the full rundown on accessibility features and options in Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope:

Nintendo Switch Sports update 1.2.2

The latest Nintendo Switch Sports update has gone live, with players now having access to version 1.2.2. The patch notes have also been shared, though they’re about what we expected.

As previously mentioned, Nintendo issued today’s update in order to address an issue that started last week with the last version of Switch Sports. After installing version 1.2.1, some players were encountering crashes in both online and local multiplayer matches. Nintendo went as far as to temporarily take down the online servers and stop distribution of the previous update. Another patch is following later in the week to ensure that the problems have been addressed for all players.

Below are the official patch notes for the Nintendo Switch Sports version 1.2.2 update:

Bayonetta 3 Jennifer Hale response voice acting

Jennifer Hale, the new voice of Bayonetta, has issued a statement on Bayonetta 3 in light of the controversial voice acting situation that became a prominent topic over the weekend.

Although she’s under an NDA – meaning what she can say is limited – Hale made it clear in stating she’s in support of “every actor’s right to be paid well”. Additionally, rather than going after PlatinumGames or specific people, she mentioned how Bayonetta 3 “has been created by an entire team of hard-working, dedicated people and I hope everyone will keep an open mind about what they’ve created.” Hale ultimately hopes for people to “resolve their differences in an amicable and respectful way.”

Persona 5 Royal comparison

GameXplain has put together a new video comparison for the new Switch version of Persona 5 Royal, stacking it up against the PS4 release. This comes ahead of the launch on Nintendo’s console in just a few days.

Overall, any changes made to Persona 5 Royal on Switch seem to be minimal. In terms of content, you’re obviously getting the same exact content. Visual changes seem to be minor and appear to come down to saturation. Resolution on Switch also can’t reach the same heights as the PS4 version, though this was largely known to start with.

Grapple Dog physical

Super Rare Games previously brought Grapple Dog to Switch as a digital title, but has now revealed that a physical release is in the cards. 5,000 copies will be available split across three different versions.

The standard version, limited to 3,000 copies, has all the current content on its cart, a full-color manual, interior artwork, an exclusive sticker, and trading cards. There’ll also be 750 Steelbook Editions that include the game and a slipcover. Finally, fans can also choose to pick up a collector’s edition (1,250 units will be produced) which contains the original soundtrack CD, a sticker sheet, and a Pablo keyring.
