EA and Hazelight Studios have made it official that It Takes Two is heading to Switch. A release is planned for November 4.
The game, one of the most acclaimed titles of last year, was rumored for Nintendo’s console earlier in the month. A port was made official during a Nintendo Direct just moments ago.

Fire Emblem Engage announced for Switch

The next major Fire Emblem release was unveiled during today’s Nintendo Direct, with Fire Emblem Engage coming to Switch. It will launch on January 20, 2023.
A Divine Edition will also be released at retail with special items. You can get a look at it below.

September 2022 Nintendo Direct live stream, live blog

A big September 2022 Nintendo Direct is upon us, and we have both a live stream and live blog ready to go. The fun begins at 7 AM PT / 10 AM ET / 3 PM in the UK / 4 PM in Europe. Note that there will not be a live stream in the UK, but it will go up as a video-on-demand following the broadcast, any viewers in the region can simply watch the North American counterpart.
Today’s Nintendo Direct will last about 40 minutes. Expect it to mainly focus on games launching on Switch this winter.
Witch on the Holy Night gets Soujuurou Shizuki trailer

Type-Moon is back with another character trailer for Witch on the Holy Night, and has now introduced Soujuurou Shizuki.
The visual novel was previously released for PC in 2012, but will be appearing on Switch for the first time. Full voice acting and HD resolution will be included.

Fortnite getting officially licensed microSDXC cards for Switch

Western Digital today announced that it’s teaming up with Nintendo and Epic Games to deliver the first officially licensed Fortnite SanDisk microSDXC cards for Switch.
The memory cards are “designed to provide players with consistent and reliable storage as they drop into Fortnite, no matter how they play.” They have been tested and approved for use with all Switch systems and are backed by a limited lifetime warranty1.

Entergram has just announced that KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on this Wonderful World! Cursed Relic and the Perplexed Adventurers, their next dungeon-crawling RPG in the KonoSuba franchise, will be suffering an additional delay due to production reasons. The game will now be launching in Japan on November 24, 2022.
KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on this Wonderful World! Cursed Relic and the Perplexed Adventurers was previously set to release on September 29, following an initial delay from a July 28 release date. The title is only set to release in Japan for now, with no information on a Western release having been announced.
Splatoon 3 becomes Japan’s fastest-selling game of all time

Splatoon 3 has taken the crown as Japan’s fastest-selling game of all time.
That news follows Nintendo’s announcement earlier today that the title has sold 3.45 million copies in the region in just three days. The company said this is the highest domestic sales level for any Switch game within that time period, but we now know that applies to all platforms as well.

Pokemon Sword and Shield Shiny Eternatus distribution revealed, full details

The Pokemon Company has revealed a new Shiny Eternatus distribution for Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield, which will be held at GameStop in the US and Canada. Those in Australia and New Zealand can participate by visiting EB Games.
Players can visit these participating retailers to pick up a special code card that will let you receive the Legendary Poison- and Dragon-type Pokemon. It comes in at level 100, has a Timid Nature, and makes use of the Pressure Ability. Its moves include Dynamax Cannon, Eternabeam, Sludge Bomb, and Flamethrower.

Loop8: Summer of Gods seeing English release in the west in Spring 2023
