The world’s largest game of Rock, Paper, Scissors took place last weekend during Splatoon 3’s Splatfest World Premiere, which gave us a chance to finally get hands-on with the upcoming threequel! Join your hosts Nick, Nicolas, Luiz and Dennis as they talk about their experiences playing the demo, as well as their thoughts on the recent Splatoon 3 showcase during a Nintendo Treehouse Live presentation. Samurai fighting game Sclash heading to Switch

Just For Games and Bevel Bakery are teaming up to bring Sclash to Switch, the two sides have confirmed. The project will be ready to go sometime in 2023.
Sclash has you playing as a hand-drawn samurai in painted settings while fighting your opponent in solemn duels where each move matters. You’ll need to manage your stamina, breath, and take your time to land a deadly hit.

Shovel Knight Dig release date set for September, new trailer

Three years after it was first announced, Yacht Club Games and Nitrome have provided a release date for Shovel Knight Dig. It’s just been confirmed that the game will launch on September 23, 2022.
Shovel Knight Dig was delayed last November. The original plan was to have it ready for 2021, but it was moved to a vague 2022 window instead.

Nintendo Switch Online receiving new Mario Kart 8 Deluxe icons

Original (8/1): A new batch of user icons are being made available for Nintendo Switch Online based on Mario Kart 8 Deluxe in celebration of the Booster Course Pass. We have a look at some of the designs that are planned above.
This isn’t the first time that the racer has been a featured title. However, it appears that Nintendo has prepared a fresh set of designs, and the first wave is available now. Additional waves with different designs will be going live each week. You’ll be able to claim Mario Kart 8 Deluxe icons until August 8 at 5:59 PM PT / 8:59 PM ET.
