Alongside it’s standard release, Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot + A New Power Awakens Set will have a couple of additional versions on the eShop with a Deluxe Edition and Ultimate Edition. Both will come with extra digital items.

When Metroid Dread was unveiled at E3 2021 in June, we heard that new amiibo were planned featuring Samus Aran and E.M.M.I. Information was also provided soon after about how the new figures will work in the game.
Over on Nintendo’s Japanese website, additional details are provided regarding amiibo features in Metroid Dread. It covers how the original Metroid series as well as the Super Smash Bros. figures work in-game.

Mario Golf: Super Rush devs on the game’s origins, opening, Swing Mode, change in mechanics, and more

A few developers behind Mario Golf: Super Rush have opened up about the game, including how the title came to be and the series’ history, the opening movie, Swing Mode, change in mechanics the franchise has seen previously, and more.
You may recall that we recently posted some excerpts from a Nintendo Dream interview conducted an interview with some of the lead staff involved with the development of Mario Golf: Super Rush. Camelot’s Hiroyuki Takahashi (Producer) and Shugo Takahashi (Director), along with Nintendo’s Shinya Saito (Producer) and Tomohiro Yamamura (Director) gave readers a peak behind the development curtain by talking through their experiences making the game.
Since the interview is quite lengthy, we’ve decided to split it up into two parts. Our translation of the first half can be read below.

Astria Ascending trailer introduces combat

Publisher Dear Villagers and developer Artisan Studio are providing fans with a closer look at combat in Astria Ascending thanks to a newly-published trailer.
Astria Ascending is making use of turn-based battles. Over 200 different monsters will appear throughout the game, and you can collect and summon legendary beasts into the fight. Another aspect of combat is building up your power to wield legendary Cosmo Breaks.

Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl video showcases SpongeBob

GameMill issued a new video for Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl today that focuses specifically on SpongeBob. Markus Villalobos, a developer at Fair Play Labs, showcases the character in-depth.
SpongeBob will have a variety of moves, including punches, kicks, and more. The character has some special attacks as well such as the Jellyfish Swing, Kah-Rah-Tay Uppercut, Imagination Clap, Aerial Jellyfish Swing, and Order Up. Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl also pays homage to SpongeBob with one of its stages, Jellyfish Fields.
Deponia Collection getting a physical release on Switch, collector’s edition planned

Super Rare Games today announced its next physical game for Switch, which will be the graphic adventure series Deponia Collection. Not only will the package be available as a standalone release, but Super Rare Games is planning a collector’s edition as well.
The Deponia Collection Collector’s Edition includes a 208 page hardcover art book, a soundtrack CD, a full set of trading cards (including a guaranteed holographic), a sticker sheet, and the standard game case with all four games on cart, a logo sticker, and a collector’s box. Only 1,000 copies will be made.
