Posted on 10 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Wii U | 3 Comments
The Wii U GamePad High Capacity Battery has been sold out on Nintendo’s online store for quite some time. Thankfully though, it won’t be long before the item comes back in stock.
A Nintendo customer service representative has said that the battery will be available once again either this month or in August. Consumers are advised to check back regularly to see when stock is available.
Hello Ken,
Please forgive the delay in our response, for we have been especially busy lately. I’m glad you contacted us with your questions. In answer, we expect the Wii U GamePad High Capacity Battery to return to stock sometime this month or in August. We aren’t able to notify you directly when we receive more stock, so I recommend you keep checking back periodically.
Sincerely,

Update: Not from the company – Slightly Mad Studios explains Project CARS’ Wii U delay
Posted on 10 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Wii U | 30 Comments
Update: It turns out that the comments below shouldn’t be taken at face value, as the page is not run by Slightly Mad Studios. Apologies for the confusion.
Bandai Namco, the distributor of Project CARS, has already weighed in on the racer’s Wii U delay. Now we have a few words from the game’s developer as well.
On Facebook, Slightly Mad Studios explained that Nintendo’s platform “uses a substantially different architecture to other consoles and the PC”, which means more time is needed “to code to the same quality of the other releases.” Ultimately the team needs a bit more time to adapt Project CARS for Wii U.
