It’s been a while since we’ve had a character reveal, but today Ike has been confirmed for the newest Wii U and 3DS battles! Sakurai had this to say:
Ike, the swordsman of magnificent strength, joins the battle!! Strike your foes down with his powerful smash attacks.
He also went into a bit of detail about his appearance this time around:
For this game, Ike’s design is based on the hero that appears in Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn. His sword deals heavy damage in Smash Bros., so this design suits him very well! Rest assured, he can use Aether as well.
The official screenshots for Ike’s release can be found below.

Ubisoft will not be bringing any Wii U or 3DS titles to the E3 2014 event next month. “We won’t be showing off any Nintendo games at E3 this year,” a representative told NintendoWorldReport.
Initially, Ubisoft provided a decent amount of support for 3DS as well as Wii U. But now the publisher has nothing major lined up for Nintendo’s portable, and Watch Dogs is the only remaining title slated for Wii U.

There will be Hyrule Warriors DLC
Posted on 10 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Wii U | 10 Comments
Extra content is something that we pretty much figured would be a part of Hyrule Warriors after hearing about the game’s premium box edition for Japan. Now it’s official though: DLC is indeed a part of Hyrule Warriors. The title’s official website possesses a DLC section, though it’s not open just yet.
Hyrule Warriors’ DLC – at least in part – will involve costumers. For the Japanese premium box edition version, Tecmo Koei is including codes for six special costumes.
