Xenoblade Chronicles X will be experiencing more maintenance tomorrow. Network services for the RPG may be affected.
Here’s when the maintenance period is scheduled for:
– 5:50 PM PT (Wednesday) – 7:30 PM PT (Wednesday)
– 8:50 PM ET (Wednesday) – 10:30 PM ET (Wednesday)
– 1:50 AM in the UK (Thursday) – 3:30 AM in the UK (Thursday)
– 2:50 AM in Europe (Thursday) – 4:30 AM in Europe (Thursday)

Amazon has once again discounted game pre-orders for Prime members, and the selection and savings appear to be bigger than ever before. Zelda Wii U, Hyrule Warriors Legends, and Fire Emblem Fates are all eligible for 20 percent off at checkout. The same goes for the upcoming Dragon Quest 3DS remakes, Bravely Second, and more.
You can find the full selection here. It’s not yet known how long these discounts will last, and if they were intentional.
Zelda: Twilight Princess HD featured in this week’s Famitsu

We last heard about The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD when it was made official during the November 2015 Nintendo Direct. A couple of months later, Nintendo is now ready to show more of the game.
Famitsu has a four-page feature on Twilight Princess HD this week. It remains to be seen what’s actually included since early magazine leaks lack concrete information. We should be getting new screenshots at the very least! Scans will hit the site tomorrow morning.

Super Mario Maker adding Yamamura costume shortly

Nintendo is bringing in another new costume for Super Mario Maker. An outfit for Yamamura will be going live later tonight in North America, and tomorrow morning in Europe. This will be available upon completion of a new Event Course.

Wii U update version 5.5.1 out now

Nintendo has come out with a new firmware update for Wii U. As of now, version 5.5.1 is available worldwide. No new features have been introduced, but Nintendo says today’s update makes improvements to overall system stability. Other minor adjustments have also been made to improve the user experience.
There are a couple of ways to grab today’s update. You can head to system settings or wait until your console downloads it automatically. Note that 47MB of free space is required.

Hulu Plus app updated on Wii U

Hulu Plus users on Wii U have started to notice that the app has been updated. It’s now been rebranded as simply “Hulu” for its software name as well as the icon image. As far as functionality, it’s not known if there are any changes.
