Chances are that you won’t be seeing DLC in any of Shin’en’s games. That’s because, as the company said on Twitter recently, the team doesn’t “plan for DLC”. Instead, Shin’en prefers to “release a 100% complete game for a fair price.”
Shin’en’s comments in full are as follows:
@Megadrive08 We don't plan for DLC. We rather want to release a 100% complete game for a fair price.

Jett Rocket II: The Wrath of Taikai’s first update isn’t too far off, Shin’en says. The developer wrote on Twitter yesterday that it’s only a matter of days before the patch goes live.
The message reads:
@EdEN_Zr Should be only a matters of day. We will tell when we get the release date. I guess holidays delayed everything a bit at eShop…

The Legend of the Mystical Ninja will release on the European Wii U Virtual Console next week, according to a listing on Nintendo of Europe’s site. Pricing for the SNES classic is set at €7.99 / £5.49.
In December, The Legend of the Mystical Ninja launched on the North American Wii U eShop. You can download the game now for $8.
Mario Golf: World Tour will set you back $40 when it finally launches, but Best Buy has the eShop version available at a discount. You can currently pre-order the downloadable release for $30. GameStop also has it listed for the same price, though it’s currently unavailable.
Digital versions of retail games not your kind of thing? That’s fine – you can pre-order the packaged version as well at Best Buy or Amazon.
Lost Decade Games plans to bring A Wizard’s Lizard to Wii U down the road. A release date hasn’t been set, though it’ll hopefully arrive sooner rather than later.
The fact that development on A Wizard’s Lizard has been completed hopefully means we’ll be seeing the game hitting the eShop in the near future. On PC, it’s due out on January 22.
If you’ve never purchased a Wii Balance Board previously any plan to pick up the just-launched retail version of Wii Fit U, you may want to check out a new deal running on Amazon. The retailer has the bundle, which includes a copy of the game and peripheral, on sale for $65. It typically goes for $100 on Amazon, so you’d be saving $35.
