Idea Factory just passed along the western release date for Touhou Spell Carnival. In both North America and Europe, it’s coming on November 19, 2024. Note that the European physical release is planned for December 3.

Outside of the release date, Idea Factory also announced that Touhou Spell Carnival will be offering a Digital Deluxe Edition. For $69.99, you’ll get the following:

Headup is working to put Tinkertown on Switch, the company has announced. It will be available in November.

Tinkertown is a multiplayer sandbox adventure game. There are a number of different things to do and see, including crafting equipment, collecting resources, and battling enemies.

30XX was given new content on Switch today with a “Feline Fury” update – or version 1.3 – and new Daily DLC is also live.

The new update adds playable character Dolto, Eternal Challenges, and a bevy of additional features. Dally is also available as paid DLC, piloting the Catastrophe Armor mech suit.

August 27: A new DLC pack focusing on Shrek has been announced for PowerWash Simulator, coming to Switch this year.

Specifics surrounding the DLC haven’t been shared, but the content should be pretty straightforward. In any case, it’ll be out before the end of 2024.

Magical Bakery was previously announced, but publisher SOEDESCO and developer Superlumen have now confirmed a Switch version. The title launches on November 7, 2024.

Magical Bakery, a cooking and management game, involves handling a magical pastry shop. Players will also look to pass an exam to become a qualified pastry magician.

September 18: Nintendo has filed a lawsuit against Pocketpair – the studio known for Palworld – together with The Pokemon Company.

Those that have been keeping up with Palworld since it burst onto the scene this year may not be overly surprised by the news. The lawsuit is seeking “injunction against infringement and compensation for damages”. Nintendo and The Pokemon Company believe that Palworld “infringes multiple patent rights.”

May 23: Microids is putting Totally Spies: Cyber Mission on Switch, the company revealed today. The title launches on October 31, 2024.

It was first revealed last year that Microids was working on a Totally Spies game. Players can look forward to a mix of action, adventure and infiltration with a brand new story set in the world of the new season 7 of the series.
