Idea Factory is bringing Ariana and the Elder Codex to Nintendo Switch in the west with a full English localization, the publisher just announced. A release is scheduled for 2026.
Ariana and the Elder Codex was originally made by Compile Heart and Hyde. In Japan, it came out in August as Magical Librarian Ariana: The Books of the Seven Heroes.

Announced today, Bluey’s Quest for the Gold Pen is coming to both Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch. Fans can grab it for both systems in 2026.
Bluey’s Quest for the Gold Pen is a story-driven adventure game. Halfbrick, which previously worked on Fruit Ninja and Jetpack Joyride, is handling development.

Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition has been delayed on Nintendo Switch 2, and the game won’t be launching this year.
Originally, the plan was to have the title ready to go this year. But as we’re a couple of months before 2025 ends, the delay won’t come as much of a surprise.
Kirby Air Riders director Masahiro Sakurai closed out the game’s second Direct presentation today with a few general comments, including confirmation that he’s not planning DLC.
There’s always the chance that things could change in the future. However, at least right now, don’t expect DLC for Kirby Air Riders. Sakurai also said that he’s “not planning on making this an ongoing series.” It sounds like he went all out in making the Nintendo Switch 2 title.
As part of today’s Kirby Air Riders Direct 2 presentation, we’ve now learned that a Global Test Ride event is happening.
If you have a Nintendo Switch 2 system and are a Switch Online member, you’ll be able to try the game for free. Demo event software will be available via the Nintendo eShop.
Neopets: Mega Mini Games Collection will be appearing on Nintendo Switch, it’s been announced. This is due out in March 2026.
Neopets: Mega Mini Games Collection brings together fan-favorite characters and mini-games in one package. The release “combines polished gameplay, nostalgic touches, and accessible fun for everyone ready to explore Neopia.” Also included is an all-new 26th Neopets mini-game made in collaboration with the official Neopets team.
Oppidum was previously announced for Nintendo Switch, but the game has now received its final release date. It’ll be available on December 18, 2025.
Oppidum, the narrative and survival co-op and narrative adventure developed by EP Games was confirmed back in February. Although the game missed it’s Q1 launch window, it’s coming by the end of the year.
