Listings on the eShops provide file sizes for a bunch of Switch games. These include Samurai Warriors 5, Shadowverse: Champion’s Battle, Boomerang X, Blaster Master Zero 3, and more.

According to Monster Hunter series producer Ryozo Tsujimoto, the team working on Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin spent “a long time deciding what to do with the graphics at first.”

Tsujimoto, along with director Kenji Oguru, spoke about the visual style during the Monster Hunter Stories 2 Special Pre-Launch Program. Oguru mentioned wanting to appeal to a wider audience compared to the first entry on 3DS. The character models were a big focus, and the team ended up going with more realistic body proportions.

Here’s something a little bit confusing when it comes to Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin. For the physical version, a download may be required.

Nintendo Everything reader PSI Wind works at a retailer, and shared a couple of photos with us of the game’s box. On the front, there’s a clear notice towards the bottom stating “download required”. There’s been nothing about this from Capcom officially, and boxart images posted to retailer websites do not have that label.

During a WonHobby Mini presentation at Anime Expo Lite, new Nendoroids were revealed. These include some figures based on popular games.

The Ace Attorney series will be represented with a couple of new additions. Phoenix Wright and Miles Edgeworth will both be getting Nendoroids.

Armor Games Studios and Gummy Cat have shared a new story trailer for Bear and Breakfast, an upcoming laid-back management adventure game. We’ve included it below.

Bear and Breakfast is due out for Switch later in 2021.

Thanks to retailer listings, we now have confirmation that Astria Ascending will be sold physically on Switch. It should be out right alongside the digital version in September.

Pre-orders for the physical release are now starting to open. It’s currently up on Amazon here and Amazon Canada here.

Graveyard Keeper players on Switch can now purchase the game’s latest DLC, Game of Crone. It adds several hours of gameplay as you help the escaped prisoners of the Inquisition survive in the wilderness.

Beasts of Maravilla Island, a 3D adventure game for Switch, has been updated. Version 1.2 went live on the console this week.

The new update includes the addition of chapter select, fixes, and improvements. The full patch notes can be found below.

With Fuga: Melodies of Steel releasing in just a few weeks, we were able to speak with creative director Yoann Gueritot. Fans are likely aware that the game is set in the same universe as the other Little Tail Bronx titles, Solatorobo and Tail Concerto.

Over the years, there have been plenty of requests for CyberConnect2 to re-release or remake those previous titles. Gueritot addressed the possibility again while speaking with Nintendo Everything.
