It’s been a long wait for Fuga: Melodies of Steel. The game, which was announced as part of CyberConnect2’s “Trilogy of Vengeance” projects over three years ago, still hasn’t released. There also hasn’t been many updates from the developer as of late.

Fortunately, we’re due for news very soon. CyberConnect2 has confirmed that a “big announcement” is dropping on June 14 at 12 PM in Japan. That converts to the following times in other parts of the world:

The Falconeer: Warrior Edition won’t be out for another couple of months, but some footage has already emerged. Check out a half hour of gameplay below.

Nintendo has now fully addressed the issues surrounding Switch’s latest firmware update, version 12.0.3. All system owners can access the upgrade once again.

Version 12.0.3 went live a couple of days ago. However, Nintendo temporarily pulled the update after detecting a couple of issues.

If you previously downloaded this week’s update, no further action is required. Those that have been experiencing issues with new microSDXC cards over the past couple of days simply need to connect to the internet and install version 12.0.3.

Hamster has announced that it plans to release Pirate Pete as the latest Arcade Archives game on Switch. The platformer will release on June 10.

Pirate Pete is a platformer arcade game in which you play through four challenges in order to rescue a lady from pirates. It was initially released in Japan in 1982 by Taito.

Pricing for Arcade Archives Pirate Pete is set at $7.99 / €6.99 / £6.29.

A new Summoning Event is now live in Fire Emblem Heroes, along with a new Special Map. Here are the details:

  • On the second day of the Book V Midpoint Celebration, Heroes with Blazing Wind are available as part of a 5-star summoning focus! These Heroes can inflict damage on foes in an area near their target before initiating combat. Your first summon won’t cost any Orbs!
  • From the Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia game, a new Grand Hero, Fernand: Traitorous Knight, is waiting in Special Maps. Defeat the knight who defected to the Rigelian Empire to make him your ally!

Check out what’s happening in Dragalia Lost:

  • The Blessed Bloodline event starts Jun. 10, 11 PM PT! Defend territory from waves of encroaching enemies in this solo-only event. Repel the Templars’ attack and win peace for New Alberia!
  • Agni’s Trial was added to Trials of the Mighty in Dragalia Lost Jun. 8, 11 PM PT. Take on this quest with a team of water-attuned lance, bow, manacaster, or staff adventurers to earn materials for unlocking Gala Laxi’s mana spiral from the daily bonus.
  • A double drops and half-stamina event for certain main campaign quests started Jun. 8, 11 PM PT! It’s your chance to get orbs for flame-attuned adventurer mana spirals and certain draconic essences!

Weekly Famitsu has revealed a plethora of information for Monark, a project from former Megami Tensei and Shin Megami Tensei staff. The game launches October 14th in Japan, and will be reaching the Switch. Check out the details about the development team, the characters,story, and gameplay below, as rounded up by Gematsu:

Not long after Nintendo started distribution of the new 12.0.3 firmware for Switch, the update was pulled. The company has now commented on the situation.

According to Nintendo, those that have already installed the update may experience connectivity issues in some instances. Additionally, those that attempt to use a microSDXC card for the first time will be unable to do so.

Nintendo says it is currently working to solve the issues with version 12.0.3. We’ll report back as soon as we have another status update.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate has announced its latest event, which will be a new tournament. The theme this time around centers around characters that use fire as part of their attacks. Only these fighters can be used.

The new tournament goes live on June 11. It will last for a total of three days.
