A class action lawsuit has been brewing with Nintendo over Joy-Con drift since last July. With many system owners complaining about faulty controllers, the hope is that the issues will be properly addressed.

A verdict hasn’t been reached and there hasn’t been much to report on, but there was an interesting development this week. U.S. law firm Chimicles Schwartz Kriner & Donaldson-Smith (CSK&D), who is handling the lawsuit, is now reaching out to consumers who previously complained about Joy-Con drift to provide a short “describing your experience with the Joy-Con drift on your controllers.” This is after Nintendo apparently argued that it “isn’t a real problem or hasn’t caused anyone any inconvenience”.
