The narrative puzzle game The Almost Gone has received a new Map Update on Switch.

Once the patch is installed, players will be able to access quality-of-life settings and adjustments. A mini-map has been added to the UI, which also acts as a button to open the main map. The in-game UI text has also been scaled up, and it’s now possible to choose between swipe and button controls. Finally, bug fixes have also been implementd.

The Almost Gone is available for Switch via the eShop.

The isometric action RPG Morbid: The Seven Acolytes will have a physical release, publisher Merge Games and developer Still Running have announced. It will come in two forms: a standard version and Signature Edition.

Animal Crossing and the 2020 United States presidential election are colliding as part of a new initiative from the Joe Biden campaign. A number of Biden-Harris signs have been created for the Switch title, which are free to download. The set features the official Biden-Harris logo, Team Joe logo, “Joe” Pride logo, and an image of aviator sunglasses shaded in red, white, and blue.

Ripstone Games today announced Poker Club, a new IP heading to Switch and other platforms. It will launch later in 2020.

A pre-show will get things started at 11 AM PT / 2 PM ET / 7 PM in the UK / 8 PM in Europe. A number of games will be featured here, including Brawlhalla and Roller Champions.

Behaviour Interactive today announced that it will be updating Dead by Daylight with a massive graphical overhaul. Improvements will be made to lighting, visual effects, modeling, textures, and animations. Additional props will be added to maps as well, along with functions to make rooms “more identifiable.”

Nintendo has very slowly added additional features and functionality to the Switch eShop since its launch back in March 2017. That continued today – specifically as it relates to games on sale.

If you head on over to the sale page section, you’ll now be told how many days left the discount will be live for. The same message can actually be seen within other areas of the eShop as well, including search pages. Users will be shown this information for already-released titles in addition to pre-order discounts.

In other news, Nintendo is now allowing pre-orders to be cancelled on the eShop.
