The final DLC for Fire Emblem: Three Houses dropped earlier today. Cindered Shadows introduces the Ashen Wolves house, and with it four students that can join you in the main game. As with the other students, they also get new designs for the second half of the game, the War Phase. Special Heroes Ike, Greil, Soren, and Mist are back in special outfits for the latest summon focus. First summon, as always, is free.
From Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War, siblings from different fathers return in Special Maps for Bound Hero Battle: Seliph & Julia. This also makes these heroes the focus of Day 12’s featured Heroes from Bound Hero Battle: Seliph & Julia. Your first summon in the corresponding banner for this event is orb-free.
Lastly, Mjölnir’s Strike: Counter phase is now active. Use your Counter Arrows wisely — save them for the latter half, or use the Weaker Bonus to triple your power. Players who didn’t participate in the Shield phase can still join in.
An update to the game’s Nintendo eShop listing has removed the reference to in-game purchases. Earlier in the week, the inclusion of this verbiage caused some alarm among the game’s many fans. While microtransactions were the fear of worst-case-scenario for many, it is worth noting that both Fire Emblem: Three Houses and Pokemon Sword & Shield also included it in their respective ratings while remaining free of the controversial offerings.

SEGA has uploaded a new trailer showcasing some gameplay segments in SEGA Ages: Sonic the Hedgehog 2 on the Switch. The game is out now on the Japanese eShop for 999 yen and is expected to release on February 20, 2020 in the west.
