New data from Circana gives us a look at the best-selling games of October 2024 specifically on Switch.
Super Mario Party Jamboree comes out on top in its first month. We also see a few third-party games here, including Sonic x Shadow Generations at #3.

Circana has released a listing of the top ten best-selling games in the U.S. for the month of October 2024.
Many new games came out, leading to a busy month. Super Mario Party Jamboree debuts at #7 – and that’s without digital data. Sonic x Shadow Generations also makes the top ten.

The long-running Winning Post series continues on, and Koei Tecmo today announced Winning Post 10 2025. It’s heading to Nintendo Switch in Japan on March 27, 2025.
Thus far we only have a teaser trailer to go off of. Koei Tecmo has also confirmed plans to release a Premium Box edition. All copies include the game, Koei Sports Special Issue 2025, Coursepo Racecourse and Race Strategy Guide & Essential Data Collection, Coursepo Special Interview Notebook, and the “Winning Post 10 2025 World Challenger Horses Purchase Rights Set.”
October 8: The Nintendo Switch version of Amber Isle is seeing a last-minute delay. Originally scheduled for October 17, it will now launch on November 21. Other versions of the game appear to be unaffected.
In a statement posted on social media by Team17, it was explained that there are “console-specific performance issues” to iron out. Further mentioned is that the game “needs more time to reach our high-performance standards” on Switch.

Yakuza Kiwami just received an update on Nintendo Switch, bringing the game to version 1.01. Players are advised to download it now.
There’s not much to the patch notes, but it’s still a notable update. SEGA says that Yakuza Kiwami’s new version 1.01 update includes some performance improvements.
November 20: Today, publisher Bushiroad Games and developer Hakama unveiled their new game Progress Orders. The title does not have a release window at this time.
Progress Orders is a guild management RPG. Yoshifumi Hashimoto, who has been involved with Story of Seasons and Rune Factory, is working on the game.

Starting today, Nintendo Switch Online members can get their hands on the classic game Donkey Kong Land.
Rare originally made Donkey Kong Land in 1995. The game retains the side-scrolling platforming gameplay of the Donkey Kong Country series, but was adjusted for the handheld.
Yellow Dot’s upcoming game Let’s Cook Together 2 is seeing release on Nintendo Switch, it’s been confirmed. We also have a release date of February 6, 2024.
Let’s Cook Together 2 is a frantic cooking game that supports up to four players. Players can learn over 65 dish recipes, experience more than 250 levels, upgrade kitchen appliances, and travel around the world to make cooking meaningful again.
Publisher Forklift Interactive and developer South Blue Moon will be putting Automate It on Nintendo Switch, the two sides announced today. A release is currently planned for Q2 2025.
Automate It is a handcrafted level-based puzzle sim. Players will be constructing intricate infrastructures using conveyor belts, machinery, and automation.
