Ratalakia Games has announced plans to bring Distraint to Switch. The developer is teaming up with Jesse Makkonen, its original creator, on the new release.

Distraint is a 2D psychological horror adventure title. We have further details and a trailer below.

As you can see, art for the tenth Japanese Splatfest has been created. This time, at least for Japan, the Splatfest asks a simple-yet-tough question: What interests you more? Undiscovered animals or futuristic technology?

A new summoning focus is now live in Fire Emblem Heroes. The new summoning focus is called “Tempest Trials +” and it features 5 star versions of Seliph, Olwen (Blue Mage Knight), and Reinhardt (Thunder’s Fist). This summoning focus will be available until May 1st.

Bandai Namco has prepared a new SD Gundam G Generation Genesis commercial to promote its upcoming launch in Japan. We have the advert below.

In a press release sent out today, Square Enix announced that Octopath Traveler will be receiving a full soundtrack release in Japan. Fans will be able to purchase the Octopath Traveler Original Soundtrack alongside the RPG on July 13.

Over 80 songs will be included spread across 4 CDs. Pricing is set at 4,104 yen.

At this time, it’s unclear if the Octopath Traveler Original Soundtrack will be sold outside of Japan. However, we’ll keep you informed about any import options that pop up.

Acquire is bringing Class of Heroes to Switch, according to the latest issue of Famitsu. It’ll be distributed next week on the Japanese eShop as Class of Heroes Anniversary Edition.

Class of Heroes originally came out for PSP in 2008. Atlus published it in North America a year later. It’s a dungeon-crawler, but with turn-based battles.

Miitomo has been updated with new content. Players can nab the latest items in the Miitomo Drop stage, “Sun, sand, and style! Miitomo Tropical Style #2”.

Available items include:

– Hibiscus straw hat
– Flamingo print Hawaiian shirt
– Halter bikini top (set)
– Halter bikini bottom cover-up (set)

Users can select Miitomo Drop stages from the Shop tab. Miitomo coins or game tickets are needed to play.

Jupiter has worked on many Picross games over the years, primarily on 3DS. But the developer isn’t finished with the dedicated portable having just announced Sanrio Characters Picross.

Sanrio Characters Picross is the picross you know and love – just with the likes of Hello Kitty, Cinnamoroll, and others. It’s coming out in Japan in just one week on April 25. Pricing is set at 700 yen.
