Stage Clear Studios has ported a few games to Switch. Max: The Curse of Brotherhood, The Coma: Recut, and Slain: Back From Hell have all landed on the eShop thanks to the developer’s efforts.

Stage Clear Studios also has another game lined up for Switch. According to the company’s website, we can expect to see Slayaway Camp: Butcher’s Cut at some point in the future.

SteamWorld Dig 2

SteamWorld Dig 2 could be getting a physical release soon. The game was rated by the USK last month, and the new classification was just added this week.

Rising Star Games is listed as SteamWorld Dig’s 2’s publisher. That tells us that a physical release is likely in the cards. A little over a year ago, Rising Star brought the SteamWorld Collection to Wii U at retail. Image & Form has also previously said that SteamWorld Dig 2 could be offered physically.

When the first two Bayonetta games were announced for Switch at The Game Awards, we heard that some new features are planned for Bayonetta 2. Tag Climax will now let you play locally (in addition to online), and amiibo will be supported.

Nintendo UK’s website reveals how amiibo functionality will be incorporated into Bayonetta 2. Tapping a compatible amiibo will “instantly unlock a number of Nintendo-themed costumes for Bayonetta to wear, weapons to use and more”. Costumes can still be unlocked normally as you progress through the game.

PlatinumGames originally created these Nintendo costumes for the Wii U release. You can unlock outfits based on Link, Princess Peach, Daisy, Samus, and Fox McCloud.

Kirby Battle Royale launched in both Europe and Japan in November. As for North America, Nintendo is finally releasing the game next Friday, and you can now pre-load it on the 3DS eShop.

You’ll need 1,688 blocks of space (211MB) for the digital version of Kirby Battle Royale. The process will let you purchase the game in advance and download most of the required data. Then on launch day, you’ll only need a small update to begin playing.

The pre-load also comes with a bonus. Nintendo is handing out codes for a “Kirby Battle Royale: May the Best Kirby Win!” 3DS theme.
