Cube Creator X, the latest entry in Arc System Work’s sandbox construction series, has been announced for Nintendo Switch. It will be released in Japan in April 2018.

This was announced via preview images of this week’s Famitsu magazine. We will have more detailed information on the game once the full issue is out on Wednesday.

Original:Nintendo has announced that Pyra from Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is being made into a 1/7 scale figure by Good Smile Company. Pre-orders for the figure will go live tomorrow, on December 26th, on the Good Smile website. Further details, such as a release date and price, will likely be announced then as well.

The figure is based on concept art created specifically by Xenoblade Chronicles 2’s main character designer Masatsugu Saito for this figure.

It’s time for the latest Famitsu’s most wanted games chart. This week, Project Octopath Traveler enters the top ten for the first time.

Head past the break for the full chart. All votes were cast between December 7 and December 13.

A number of new items have been added to Miitomo. Among the selection you’ll find in the app, the following are now available:

– Chic feather headpiece
– Flower barette
– Mermaid dress + stole
– Patent sling-back sandals

These items can be obtained by using Miitomo coins in Miitomo Shop.

Zerodiv published Gunbird on the Switch eShop this month. But if you look for the game now, you’ll be out of luck. The game has currently been removed.

Signs point to Gunbird having some sort of exploit. We imagine that once it’s fixed, it will return to the eShop. Hopefully sooner rather than later.

Original: Tons of new discounts have gone live across all eShops. Switch, 3DS, and even Wii U have quite a number of savings.

Over on Switch, a whole slew of games have received discounts, including 75% off the excellent Oxenfree, 50% off Riptide GP Renegade and Unbox: Newbie’s Adventure, and 25% off L.A. Noire. On both 3DS and Wii U, Capcom’s games are available at lowerf prices. There are other highlights as well with THQ Noric games for cheap, including Darksiders Warmastered Edition for just $4.

IGN recently spoke with Final Fantasy IV lead designer and Chrono Trigger director Tokita Takashi for a new interview. Regarding Final Fantasy IV, Takashi spoke about the challenges of implementing many new mechanics and discusses some scenarios that were originally planned for the game. He also weighed in on which Chrono Trigger ending he believes is canon, and how ideas for the cancelled Chrono Break made it into Fantasy Dimensions II.
