We’re getting ever closer to the release of Xenoblade Chronicles 2 on December 1st. Three separate ads for the game are now airing on Japanese TV, and Nintendo has handily compiled them into a single video, which you can find below. The first ad focuses on the world and the various areas you can explore, the second one focuses on Rex and Pyra and the third one is all about the various adversaries you’ll face.
We previously reported on the upcoming patch for Pokken Tournament DX, which will add a variety of new features, most importantly online team battles. We now have a more concrete date on when the patch will be available: “mid-November”. Since it’s already the 10th, we should be getting that patch fairly soon, perhaps even next week.
The Switch’s video capture function is steadily expanding to more titles – including third-party games. Next week, on November 15th, Monster Hunter XX will receive its next update (patch 1.3.0). Among other improvements, you will then be able to record 3o-second videos in the game and share them on Twitter and Facebook.
It’s the end of the week, which means another new weapon is coming to Splatoon 2. The Inkbrush Nouveau has the same stats as the regular Inkbrush, but it comes with the Ink Mine sub-weapon and the Baller special instead. It’ll be available tomorrow around noon in Japan and Australia, early in the morning in Europe and later tonight in North America.
Another 2 rare blades have graced Xenoblade Chronicles 2, this time we have the aqua lance user Mikumari who you can see in the art and video in the first two tweets down below. She was designed by CHOCO and voiced by Ayane Sakura. And then we have Seori, who is in the last two tweets. She is also designed by CHOCO and voiced by Ayako Kawasumi.

We got some new tidbits on how Nintendo’s expectations are for the future and how they will be handling production thanks to the Wall Street Journal. Here’s a quick summary of some of the bigger points.
Nintendo is planning on increasing the pace at which it produces Switch systems and are planning to make 25 million – 30 million in the next fiscal year, April 2018. They also seemed to indicate that they would increase these numbers depending on what they see during the holiday season. Kimishima believes that demand will keep growing even after the holiday season is over.
Mimikyu is already a really good, popular Pokemon. Now it gets even more options with a new Z-move for Ultra Sun and Moon. The attack itself is downright devastating knocking Pokemon’s health all the way down to zero. You can check the Japanese trailer down below.
If you missed your chance to get the original cap Pikachu, your in luck because the original cap Pikachu is back. You will just need to enter the code PIKACHUM20. You can check the source below for additional detail.
