Following up on the news that Mewtwo began to appear for Pokemon GO players in Japan a few hours ago, Niantic has shared some news about how the Legendary Pokemon will be distributed in other regions.

Mewtwo will be appearing in a new Exclusive Raid Battle feature. It’s similar to regular Raid Battles, but players are invited to join these events. Invitations can be received by recently completing a raid and defeating the Raid Boss at the Gym where the Exclusive Raid Battle will be taking place. These invitations include advance warning of when the Exclusive Raid will take place.

Nintendo has posted another brief GIF to the Japanese Super Mario Odyssey Twitter account. The latest update focuses on the action of crouching.

Crouching can be used to avoid enemy attacks. Additionally, you can move through tight spaces that you wouldn’t be able to access normally.

The GIF, posted below, also gives us a new look at New Donk City at night.

The Pokemon GO Stadium event is currently happening at Yokohama in Japan. There, Mewtwo has appeared for the first time in Pokemon GO as a special raid boss, giving attendees a chance to catch this Legendary Pokemon.

There’s currently no word if or when Mewtwo will appear outside the context of that event. We will keep you updated.

A new Fire Emblem Heroes update is coming out tomorrow and will include characters from Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones. These new characters will also be the enemies in the newest paralogue missions. On top of all that the Legion grand hero battle is back up today, so players have another shot to get him. You can check out the video for the new heroes below.

Atelier Lydie & Soeur: Alchemists of the Mysterious Painting will be the first mainline entry in the series on a Nintendo console. A western release hasn’t been announced, but Koei Tecmo will likely be localizing the game after the Japanese launch.

It’s time for the latest Famitsu‘s most wanted games chart. Super Mario Odyssey moves up to the top three (almost the top two actually), and Xenoblade Chronicles 2 enters the top ten.
