Nintendo is teaming up with Fritos for a big Switch promotion. For the next six weeks, Frito-Lay is giving away one Switch system and a game every single hour. Consumers can be on the lookout for specially marked Frito-Lay Variety Packs with information about how U.S. residents can enter for a chance to win.
Doug Bowser, Nintendo of America’s Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing, said of the new promotion:
“Nintendo Switch sprung out of the gate as the fastest-selling Nintendo home system in history. It’s no secret that snacks and video games have always gone together, and this is a great chance for people to get their hands on a Nintendo Switch and a game.”
Variety Packs are sold at retail stores nationwide for $3.60 – $8.99. You can find more details about the promotion on the official site here.

Capcom has prepared a second new commercial for the Switch version of Monster Hunter XX. Have a look at it below.
Nintendo advertising one of their products via posters at Shibuya station in Tokyo is nothing new – the company has advertised many of its biggest games and also the Switch this way. It probably comes as no surprise then that ARMS is the latest game to get this treatment. Shibuya station is one of the most heavily trafficked train stations in the world, so Nintendo’s newest IP is sure to get a lot of attention this way.
Spike Chunsoft has announced that they are working on a sequel to Attack on Titan 2: Future Coordinates, which arrived to North America 2 years ago as Attack on Titan: Humanity in Chains.
This title, called Shingeki no Kyojin 2 ~Mirai no Zahyou~ in Japanese (it would translate to Attack on Titan 2: Future Coordinates), will probably cover the events of the second season of the anime, but we don’t have any details about the game yet.
For now we just know that it will be released for 3DS later this year in Japan and that we’ll get a first look this weekend, as there will be a TV commercial during the airing of the latest anime episode.
Nintendo of Europe has followed suit this morning and also announced Nintendo Switch Online. The wording is pretty much exactly the same as in Nintendo of America’s announcement, so it appears that the online service will have the same features across all countries.
The price of the service is also comparable – it will cost €3,99 for one month, €7,99 for three months and €19,99 for twelve months. The £ price will be announced at a later date.
The newest Grand Hero Battle is available to play and this time around it is the sable knight Camus. Just like all the previous battles it will include two difficulties to choose from, hard and lunatic, and will grant you the hero upon victory. His map does not come with quests, but the new June quests have become available.
Along with the battle itself comes a new summoning focus centered on beating the map. The characters n this focus are Olwen, Fae, Jaffar, and young Tiki. The focus and the special map will stay active through June 9th.
