Ditching the Master Sword isn’t normally possible in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. But with a new glitch, players are allowing for it to happen – and in a strange way.
Having enemies shoot a certain number of arrows causes issues with the game’s memory management. When there are too many arrows, you’ll see a glitched character model of Link in the inventory menu. Weapons can also be duplicated. By doing so, you can “drop” the Master Sword, and you’ll even see a message stating: “The Master Sword has returned to the forest”.
Note that the sword is still kept in your inventory. It’s though that Nintendo may have thought about creating a possible failsafe in a previous build that was ultimately discarded. It’s pretty neat in any case.
Earlier this year, Jake Hunter: Ghost of the Dusk was announced for 3DS. Famitsu now confirms that the game will launch in Japan on August 31 for 5,370 yen.
Jake Hunter: Ghost of the Dusk is being developed by the series’ original staff. It’s about a “return to roots” and features familiar systems through which you’ll use simple controls and command selections. The staple “Tobacco System” is back, which is used when you want to put all your hints in order.
Confirmed characters include:
Saburou Jinguuji / Jake Hunter (voiced by Juurouta Kosugi)
Yoko Misono (voiced by Mamiko Noto)
Sanzou Kumano (voiced by Fumihiko Tachiki)
Daigo Kaga (voiced by Seiichirou Yamashita)
Satomi (voiced by Konomi Kohara)
Jake Hunter: Ghost of the Dusk is currently 80 percent complete.
