The first gameplay video has emerged for NBA Playgrounds, launching on Switch via the eShop next week. See it below.

Mario Kart 8 on Wii U had a slight issue with kart ratings. When it came to acceleration, the amount was rounded down to the nearest whole number. That means a kart rated at 2.75 in acceleration raced as if it was rated 2.

Nintendo ended up addressing this in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. A 2.75 acceleration kart will be at its max speed faster than a 2.5, for example.

Snake Pass has been out for around a month. With that in mind, Sumo Digital prepared a special infographic containing various stats. You can view that below.

In other Snake Pass news, Snake Pass will be supported with patches that range from “quality of life changes, right through to exploring other possible avenues of getting Snake Pass into YOUR hands.” Sumo Digital also teased new content once again: “Oh, and there may or may not be additional content being explored too…Not that we can confirm or deny that either way.”

Sumo Digital will have more news about Snake Pass soon, including details about the game’s next update.

The first thing that hit me upon playing TumbleSeed is how tactile it feels. Even as I was hopelessly fumbling and rolling my seed, making inconsequential progress up the game’s procedurally generated mountain, its textured soundtrack, satisfyingly percussive sound effects, and bright bubbly visuals kept me going – at least until I had a better grasp on the game. As it turns out, TumbleSeed is an excellent roguelike.

Blazing Star is out now on the Switch eShop as a new NeoGeo title from the Arcade Archives series. Take a look at some footage below.

Yooka-Layee’s initial launch took place last month. Of course, we’re still waiting on the Switch version – which Playtonic is still working on.

Aside from the Switch edition, Playtonic is also tinkering away on improving the overall Yooka-Laylee experience. The team promises to “add significant improvements and introduce some of the most requested features,” such as “the optional ability to skip dialogue faster, bypass cutscenes or reduce those pesky gibberish voices” along with an improved camera. Presumably this will all be included when Yooka-Laylee is ready on Switch.

Playtonic wrote on its blog:

Update: Bumped to the top. Both versions of the New 2DS XL are up for pre-order now here.

Original: Amazon Germany is taking pre-orders for the new Zelda amiibo. The Twilight Princess, Majora’s Mask, and Skyward Sword Link figures can be reserved here. Note that the first two can be shipped to the US – the Skyward Sword amiibo won’t right now for whatever reason.

First 4 Figures is now taking pre-orders for the recently-announced Amaterasu Life Size Bust from Okami. As usual, there are two versions to choose from. The regular edition is here and the exclusive edition is here. Both are rather pricey, coming in at $675 and $725 respectively.

One difference seems to separate the two versions. First 4 Figures says the exclusive version is the “latest product from our newly branded CORE label – Okami Amaterasu LOGO cap (White version)”.
