In an interview with Maxi-Geek, Tantalus Media CEO Tom Crago stated that his studio has been working on projects for the Switch. According to Crago, the studio, which developed The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD, has been working on unannounced titles “for some time”. Crago also stated that Nintendo has made the development process “friendly and systematic,” and that he is personally excited for the Switch’s portability. He also suggested that, if Nintendo fans have any particular titles that they want to see ported, that they should suggest them through Tantalus’s Facebook page.

The full interview can be read here. Crago teased that there would be news soon, but for now we can only wait and speculate what they might be working on.

Nyoki Nyoki: Tabidachi Hen, which is releasing on the Japanese 3DS eShop on November 16, has gotten a new trailer. You can watch the puzzle gameplay below:

The Special Edition: New Lime Green New 3DS XL recently launched in North America as an Amazon exclusive. For a closer look, view the unboxing video below.

Thanks to jikes10 for the tip.

More:

Over on the North American eShop, Nintendo put up some additional screenshots from Pokemon Sun/Moon. We’ve rounded them up below.

It’s time for the latest Famitsu‘s most wanted games chart! Pokemon Sun/Moon and Dragon Quest XI are still in the top five, but Zelda: Breath of the Wild has slipped out of the top ten.

Head past the break for the full chart. All votes were cast between October 20 and October 26.

Miitomo has been updated with new content once again. Players can nab some new items in the latest Miitomo Drop stage, “Go for a hat trick! Soccer Style #2”.

Available items include:

– Soccer ball hood
– Soccer referee uniform
– Goalkeeper uniform
– Soccer fan tee

Along with the new Miitomo Drop stage, Nintendo has sent word about maintenance taking place this coming week. The app will be impacted for about six hours on November 9 to prepare for the big update. Once it’s finished, the update will go live.

Maintenance should be taking place at the following times:

– 12 PM PT (November 9) – 6 PM PT (November 9)
– 3 PM ET (November 9) – 9 PM ET (November 9)
– 8 PM in the UK (November 9) – 2 AM in the UK (November 10)
– 9 PM in Europe (November 9) – 3 AM in Europe (November 10)

My Nintendo added in a new set of discount rewards this past week. Strangely, a couple have now been “reduced in price” on the North American website.

Previously, the 30 percent discount on EarthBound for both Wii U and 3DS required 40 Gold Points. Now though, both are down to 30 Gold Points. Xenoblade Chronicles on Wii U has also dropped from 70 to 50 Gold Points.

If you ordered these discounts before they were reduced, you might be out of luck. There’s no way to regain points on the website itself. The only advice we can offer is calling Nintendo’s customer support line – maybe they can provide some assistance.

If you’re in Europe or Japan, you can now purchase F-Zero X on the Wii U Virtual Console. Take a look at some footage below.

Niantic is getting the ball rolling on a new Pokemon GO update. The app is being updated to version 1.15.0 on iOS, and version 0.45.0 on Android.

The new Pokemon GO update encompasses three main areas. First, as we heard about recently, daily bonuses are coming to Pokemon GO. Also, when defeating a Gym Leader, a brief period will be in place in which only you can place a Pokemon in the open Gym. Finally, the amount of Prestige a rival Gym loses when you defeat a regular Gym member has increased while the amount of Prestige gained by training at a friendly Gym has been lowered.

Read up on Niantic’s official message after the break.
