Buzz Monkey Software, in partnership with Ubisoft, was once working on an open world South Park title for the GameCube, PlayStation 2, and Xbox. Development began in late 2004 and carried on for less a year before its eventual cancellation. All of the relevant details about what this South Park title would have offered are in the video below.
Pokken Tournament was shown during the Nintendo Directs in all three regions on Thursday. But in Japan, Nintendo shared an extra piece of interesting news – aside from the confirmed release date.
Consumers in Japan will be able to purchase a bundle when Pokken Tournament launches in a few months. Nintendo didn’t elaborate on the specifics, but it’ll definitely include a Wii U console and a copy of the game.
Pokken Tournament’s Japanese release is scheduled for March 18.

It’s been a very busy day for amiibo news. We’ve heard about new Animal Crossing figures plus Famicom R.O.B coming to North America, and we even saw a first look at the Ryu amiibo.
That’s not all though. Found it what seems to be a GameStop display is confirmation of another amiibo exclusive. In the United States, you’ll only be able to purchase Roy at GameStop.
Update: Bumped to the top. The amiibo news keeps coming in! Rover and Kapp’n have also been found in the system.

A Target display has revealed the existence of a brand new amiibo. At some point in the future, Nintendo will be launching the Timmy & Tommy Nook figure. Target’s display indicates that this amiibo will be exclusive to the retailer in the United States.
Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash is compatible with several amiibo, including the gold Mario figure. Take a look at some footage of the character in action below.
Aside from the Timmy & Tommy Nook amiibo, there’s another important item included in Target’s retail display. It appears that the Famicom R.O.B. amiibo is heading west based on the image above. Nintendo hasn’t made any official announcements yet, but there’s no reason for it to be featured in the display if it isn’t coming over.
It was just a few days ago that we heard about another Puzzle & Dragons game for 3DS via CoroCoro. Thanks to a newly-emerged scan, the title is confirmed to be “Puzzle & Dragons X”.
The scan, pictured above, admittedly doesn’t show a ton. It looks like we have a first look at the main character who is capable of turning into a knight. Aside from that, a pair of monsters are depicted.
Puzzle & Dragons X is heading to the 3DS in Japan next year. More information about the project should be shared soon.
