Smash Bros. Wii U/3DS – latest DLC tweet translations

Over the past couple of days, the Japanese Smash Bros. Twitter account has been sharing information and images about tomorrow’s DLC coming to the Wii U and 3DS games. The new content covers the addition to Tourney Mode, Replay Uploading, stages, and Mii Fighter costumes.
The folks over at Source Gaming has gone to the trouble of translating the different messages. You can look at the tweets in English below, and the site’s original article here.
On the morning of Friday, July 31st, we will be releasing an update for Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS. In addition to Tourney Mode (Wii U) and Replay Uploading, we will also distribute new premium DLC (Mii Fighter costumes, Stages).
In Tourney Mode, players compete to win points over a set period of time. Players can create their own tourneys and adjust the rules as they like. We will also be holding tournaments for players to compete for the top spot. Tourney Mode will be available for free.
New Costume – Smash Hoodie
Translation: A snazzy zip-up featuring the Smash logo. Also note the flame accent on the sleeve! Comes paired with cool gray pants. Available for all Mii Fighters on 7/31!New Stages – Peach’s Castle 64 / Hyrule Castle 64
Translation: The two stages are throwbacks to the original Super Smash Bros., Peach’s Castle 64 and Hyrule Castle 64. Both stages will be available for 250 yen each on one console, and 350 yen for both Wii U/3DS.New Costume (Swordfighter) – Chrom (Fire Emblem: Awakening)
Translation: A faithful recreation right down to the Brand of the Exalt on his arm. Unsheathe your Falchion and show Marth who the real Hero King is! Available 7/31.New Costume (Brawler) – King K. Rool (Donkey Kong Country)
Translation: A vivid recreation, from the bulging eyeball to the glimmering crown. Put this on, and you’ll feel like King of the Kremlings! Available 7/31.Translation: But that’s not all! We will be distributing more Mii Fighter costumes in addition to the ones we have shown today. Check back here tomorrow for more info!
Uploading Replays
Translation: In the 7/31 update, you will be able to upload footage of your battles to YouTube and Miiverse!

Translation: Introducing a full-body bear suit! A curious little cub poked its paw into the honey pot…and it got stuck! Luckily, that jar makes for a great gun, too! Available 7/31.New Costume (Brawler): Flying Man (MOTHER)
Translation: This little birdie has flown straight out of the MOTHER series and right into Smash! The bold contrast between red and yellow is sure to draw everyone’s eyes. No need for a tombstone because you’ll be the one dishing out KOs! Available 7/31.New Costume (Swordfighter): Lloyd Irving (Tales of Symphonia)
Translation: This swordsman’s stylish hairdo really stands out. The adventure begins when you don this costume! Available 7/31.
The Great Ace Attorney – Randst Magazine #3 out now in Japan

Capcom has released the third Randst Magazine for The Great Ace Attorney in Japan. This features a short episode set during episode 4, a Mikotoba Susato 3DS theme, Shu Takumi commentary video about episode 1, and Sherlock Holems concept art (with voice clips) and comments from character designer Kazuya Nuri.
Pricing for the Randst Magazine is set at 300 yen. Fans can also purchase a bundle containing all issues for 2,000 yen. The fourth issue launches next week.

Update: More Mii costumes – Huge Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS update coming July 31st, includes new stages and more

Update (7/30): Yesterday we got a look at the huge update coming out on July 31st, which included tons of DLC. We got a look at a ton of costumes, and now more have been added alongside King K Rool, Chrom, and the original designs. Take a look at more of the costumes below!
A brand new update is heading to Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS, and includes a lot of stuff, both free and paid, the official Smash Bros. Japanese Twitter has just announced.
Tons of Mii Fighter costumes are being included in this new update. These include both original costumes as well as character inspired outfits such as King K Rool from Donkey Kong and Chrom of Fire Emblem.
Here’s a look at what will be made available on July 31st:
• Parka costumes, which can be used by all three Mii types
• King K Rool costume for Mii Fighters
• Chrom Costume for Mii Fighter
• Hyrule Castle 64 Stage
• Peach’s Castle 64 Stage
• Tournament Mode
• Ability to save and post replays to YouTube
More costumes and information will purportedly be revealed via the official Smash Bros. Twitter account tomorrow as well, so stay tuned!

Fire Emblem Fates – Japanese DLC schedule, new content out now

Nintendo has outlined the Japanese DLC schedule for Fire Emblem Fates. Starting today and continuing for three additional weeks, players will be able to purchase even more content for the game.

Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate – Universal Studios Japan DLC now live

The bulk of Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate’s July DLC launched a couple of weeks ago. However, some new content came out today as well. Players can now get their hands on the content stemming from the Universal Studios Japan collaboration. This includes an opportunity to obtain the Star Knight sword and shield.

Never Alone dev hasn’t decided if the new Foxtales expansion will be on Wii U

E-Line Games revealed a new expansion for Never Alone today. The Foxtales DLC is based on the story of “The Two Coastal Brothers”, and features three new environments, levels, and abilities.
Foxtales has only been announced for PlayStation platforms thus far, though we reached out to the team and asked if the expansion will be coming to Wii U. We were told that the developer is “still looking into other platforms for Foxtales and haven’t made a decision on Wii U yet.”

The Great Ace Attorney – more DLC details, screenshots

Siliconera has translated some information about The Great Ace Attorney’s DLC. We also have some screenshots of the free episode as well. All of today’s content is posted below.
– The Randst Magazine tells players about what happened during the earlier stages of the game
– This is free
– Before Phoenix Wright’s ancestor Ryunosuke Naruhodo takes off to England, he’ll be learning the ways of the law back home in Japan
– Gets help from his friend Kazama Asougi.
– Two witness characters gave Ryunosuke a tough time in his very first case
– They’re arguing about something, but we don’t know what it is
– The story might give you a little more insight on what was going on during that part of the game with these two characters
– DLC comes with a 3DS custom theme featuring Ryunosuke, where you’ll get to see him pulling off his “Objection!” pose, and other looks and designs
– 8 DLC waves in total
– All future DLC will be 300 yen each
– Can be purchased as a set for 2,000 yen
– The DLCs also include special pictures, BGM, voices, and “making of” videos for the game, to go with the short story and custom theme
