Europe

Nintendo released the European boxart for Fossil Fighters: Frontier. You can take a look at it above.

The European pack shot is actually quite different compared to the one we saw in North America. As a reminder, here’s what that one looks like:

3DS owners in Europe can head to a local Nintendo Zone to obtain a new theme in honor of International StreetPass Week. Sadly, I don’t believe it’s being offered in North America!

Update: Now live in North America as well (thanks LordDisco).

StreetPass Mii Plaza has received a 4.0 update in Europe. You’ll need to grab the update directly from the app rather than through the eShop.

Along with today’s update, users can now purchase the new StreetPass Fishing (Ultimate Angler) and StreetPass Zombies (Battleground Z) games in addition to StreetPass Mii Plaza Premium.

We’ll update this post when we confirm that the new content is live in North America.

Watch a bunch of footage from the new StreetPass Mii Plaza content below.

If you’re in Europe, the Puzzle & Dragons: Super Mario Bros. Edition demo can now be accessed via the 3DS eShop. You can also head straight to the download page through the QR code above.

Puzzle & Dragons: Super Mario Bros. Edition demo takes up 673 blocks of space. Watch some footage below.

Quick heads up for Smash Bros. owners in Europe and Australia: codes are now starting to go out. You simply obtain them by logging in to Club Nintendo site. Codes may not be live for everyone in PAL territories, but they should definitely be up soon!

Note that codes must be redeemed by May 31.

Update: Etrian Odyssey 2 Untold: The Fafnir Knight has also been confirmed for early 2016 in Europe.

Devil Survivor 2: Record Breaker and Etrian Mystery Dungeon are coming to Europe, courtesy of NIS America. The publisher has announced that both games are launching this fall. In addition to the expected eShop release, Devil Survivor 2: Record Breaker and Etrian Mystery Dungeon will also be distributed in stores.

European trailers for the two titles are posted below.

Several new 3DS themes are out now in Europe. They’re all based on the children’s book series Geronimo Stilton. Each is priced at €1.99.

It appears Level-5’s latest entry in the Inazuma Eleven franchise is coming to Europe, according to a recent trademark filing. When an official announcement is made, we’ll have it right here on the site.

Inazuma Eleven Go: Galaxy was released in Japan in late 2013 and is the sequel to Inazuma Eleven GO 2: Chrono Stone.

Fossil Fighters: Frontier is coming to Europe on May 29, Nintendo has announced. The game previously came to North America on March 20.

To read up on today’s announcement in full, continue on below.

9th April 2015 – Brave explorers – grab your excavation tools and prepare to head out into the wild world to dig up fossils, because on 29th May, Fossil Fighters Frontier is coming to the Nintendo 3DS family of systems!

In Fossil Fighters Frontier, play as a young Fossil Warden protecting precious Fossil Parks across the world from a cruel villain, Dr. Baron von Blackraven, who is intent on ruling the world using the power of Vivosaurs – extra powerful and extra colourful dinosaurs! Awaiting you in-game will be a huge 3D world with hidden riches to discover while travelling around in your customisable Bone Buggy vehicle. Track down precious fossils, excavate them, before watching them revive into Vivosaurs. You can then send these Vivosaurs – of which there are over 80 to discover in-game – into turn-based battles to take on your enemies.
