So it seems that Game Freak and Nintendo have filed for a new trademark known as “Ultra Shiny”, it is unclear what this will end up being in the end but it is interesting none the less. It could involve the Pokemon games, cards, or movies we just don’t know at this point.

Rumor has it that a Pokemon park will be added to Universal Studios Orlando. Following up on a report from Theme Park University blogger Josh Young, WFTV has also heard from “numerous sources inside Universal who say Pokemon is indeed coming to Universal Orlando.”

The Pokemon park will apparently be housed at the KidZone section of Universal, where Woody Woodpecker and Barney can currently be found. Nintendo’s Mario Kart and Donkey Kong roller coaster rides were apparently intended to be placed there previously, though they’ll instead be built at the 400 acres Universal recently bought near Kirkman Avenue.

WFTV reports that the Pokemon park will arrive in 2020.

Zeraora is a Mythical, Electric-type Pokemon. You can expect to see it in the latest movie.

The Japanese release of Pokemon The Movie: Everyone’s Story is fast approaching. In Japan, the film debuts on July 13.

Oha Suta intends to promote the movie with a new trailer. The episode is airing on Monday, so the video should be published by then at the latest.

Pokemon has been an incredibly successful franchise since the beginning. Even after 20 years, the franchise is still going strong.

During a recent media event, Valve boss Gabe Newell actually spoke about Pokemon while discussing the company’s future plans. Here’s what Newell said about the IP’s longstanding success:

A new Pokemon movie in Japan always means some tie-in promotions with the current games, and this time will be no different, as the latest issue of CoroCoro magazine reveals. The latest Pokemon movie, titled “Everyone’s Story”, will be released in Japan on July 13th. The Legendary Pokemon its story focuses on is Lugia, and as such, Lugia will be distributed via a serial code if you pre-book tickets for the movie between April 13th and July 12th. Codes will be valid until September 30th and can be redeemed in Pokemon Sun, Moon, Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon.

This Lugia has its Hidden Ability, Multiscale, and comes with the moves Aeroblast, Defog, Tailwind and Hurricane, a move it can’t learn normally. Lugia will be at level 100.

It’s currently unknown whether or not this Lugia will also be distributed outside Japan in some form.
